Hey everyone, have not posted in here alot. I have gone through and read the thread a couple of times a week. I knew Ahlusion was going to close for the holidays, but I have noticed this thread has really gotten quiet. I was going to post that I tried the Kiwi sea and the Grapevine on my last order and those two are among my top 5 now. Has something happened where everyone has taken a vacation from this thread? Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone.

Bummed that you're gone. Any ideas on how long I should let my chocolate cream steep??? Is a week good or longer?? BTW the Ron effect is excellent!!!! Thanks!!!

Steep until it tastes good to you. For me that happened to be two months
It really took that long for it to go to almost flavorless to a pretty accurate chocolate cream. Others have had it work for them much earlier tho.

I have 2 orders from Ahlusion so far and am indeed hooked. I check this thread almost daily. Everyone has disappeared. Must be that new club. Hmmm.....Anyway, can't wait for them to open again in January. Have my wish list full of new flavors to try, and big bottles to stock up on. Merry Christmas everyone!

Got my first order in yesterday and got them all chillin in the cabinet. 5 days to go!!! Also got some octocooler which I love =).

Ginger Orange Oolong
Limelight Chill
Citrus Bliss Breeze
Devil Dog!
Blue Grass Burley
Sublime Flurries
Canyon Sun Flurries

Those citruses might need a pretty good steep time to really shine. The Burley and the Dog! can be enjoyed right away tho. The flavor of those two won't change, but they will mellow out a bit with time, which many prefer. I like them best fresh when they really kick like an angry mule.

people in the DIY section are experimenting with an ultrasonic cleaner. they use it to speed the steeping process. they are having success. not sure about how long or how strong the cleaner needs to be. i have one i use to help clean used carts. should cut steeping time way down - you might want to take a look.

By really long time, is 5 days good? They are on the second day of taking the tops off and now are with tops on sitting. I waited a long time to get these. I'd hate to wait another 2 weeks till they get good.
