2.0mm airhole = less throat hit?
1.5mm airhole = more throat hit?

It's going to depend on a lot more than the airhole size. Drawing air more slowly over a cooler coil will improve throat hit a little. Drawing more air over a hotter coil will also improve it. Same with nicotine strength; a little more air = more vapor = more nicotine = more throat hit up to a point, unless lower power is resulting in too cool of a vape.

Some have said the biggest contributor to TH is nicotine level.

The bigger the airhole the airier the draw and potentially less TH

I read somewhere that vg/pg ratio affects throat hit as well (vs flavor). There was a post about more pg gives more throat hit and flavor.

All things listed here have influence on TH - airhole size, PG/VG ratio, power heating the coil, design of the atomizer. But nicotine level is according to me contradictory - somebody says yes, TH increases with nicotine level, somebody no. I still can create myself a nice cough attack even with 4mg strength

If you want to experiment with air holes get an old or cheap rba and drill it out big enough to fit medium size ss setscrews
then tap the hole in your. Cap to acsept the setscrews
drill through the center of the setscrews with different sized bits. The size air holes you think you will use
screw in the air hole you want and vape
