I'm going to be flying at the end of the week and not sure if I will be able to carry on my ejuice bottle or will I have to have it in my checked baggage. Anyone know? I don't have a problem checking it. I will make sure I have filled cartridges on me for when we land (really looking forward to not doing the very rapid walk to baggage claim!). I have lots of sample sizes that fit the requirement for being under the 2.5oz limit for liquids but am not sure if they will hassle me for what it is.

Anyone have any issues carrying on ejuices? Or even having a mod in their carry on, or my case, purse while going through security at the airport?

Thanks in advance

Anything that requires a battery should go in the cabin with you. Battery powered devices are a safety hazard because they can catch fire, and if they're in the baggage hold they'd never be able to get it put out in time. That's not just ecigs- it's laptops, Kindles, iPod's- anything and everything. We've flown a handful of times, and never even had anyone ask what they are.

Juice just goes in your quart ziplock bag. I usually have a backup bottle in my checked bags just in case.

For the device, I have put mine in the cup that your keys go in. Nobody said anything.

The juices, what Suzies said. I flew out of the country with no problems. On my way back I still had a lot of bottles of juice with me and not only did I have to go through a baggage check but after that, there was a guy in the jetway, just before you get on the plane, taking every single thing out of everyones bags and inspecting it. He pulled out my bag of juices, said nothing, then put them back in my bag. He then said, "Have a good flight!"

Thanks! Yeah I know about the zip lock bags. I even carry spares in my carry on because there is inevitably new flyers that don't know the rules and are really thankful when I whip out a spare for them LOL. So security actually will know that this is ecig stuff and not dangerous liquid?

Sometimes I get really impatient with people that choose to not listen to the person telling everyone what they have to remove before walking through. One time we had to wait forever for this guy to remove his belt, take things out of his pocket, then set off the thing again because he had stuff in his shirt pockets. Most times I can see where people forget things, but this was just ignorant behavior. The person he was traveling with was all ready beforehand. I'm a people watcher LOL.

Thank you! Checked it out and I will be leaving the liquid in its original plastic bottle in its own zip lock bag. I do like being prepared beforehand.

You are only permitted one quart size bag of liquids (shampoos, etc.) and your juice will need to fit in that bag. They may let a separate bag of e-juice through, but there's no guarantee.

I've flow quite a bit since I started vaping back in May, and haven't had any problems getting through security. They all seem to recognize a typical e-cig.

If you're using juice from a vendor all vendors enclose at least one business card with each shipment. Just slip one of those in the baggie with the juice. Some TSA ignoramus at a small airport in South Dakota thought the ecig was a knife. Big airports?.........no problems. Enjoy your flight.

That is very nice and thoughtful of you! I think I might just do the same thing now. :)

Since it is such a hassle, all my liquids go into my checked bag. Even in my checked bag they get put into ziplock bags. I hate when things leak all over. My little pretty bottles of ejuice will get their own little quart bag. Since I will be going for a long weekend, I will only need just a couple of bottles with me. Who knows, I might find an actual ejuice store whilst exploring Minneapolis.

No issues at all with any of my gear. I don't how though, with all the batteries, mods, cartos, atties, wire and such, has to look like a bomb on the xray, lol. Just have to put your eliquid with all your other liquids.

Then you have all the other electronic stuff that go with iPad and Kindle and cell phone...etc. Yes, even though I have an iPad with Kindle app, I still need to carry the Kindle. Lord forbid I finish a book and you can't buy Kindle books from the iPad app.

Gosh, what would we do without all our toys?

Good idea! I will enclose the business card. We are flying from Philly to Minneapolis. Should be big enough to have seen most everything LOL.

Was in Minneapolis/St.Paul last year. Hit up the owner Dave of 'Vermillion River'. Not only did he invite me to come to his juice lab, but he also gave me some insight as to various analog-stores in the area where I could purchase his juice. There's no way to get e-juice or hardware where I live, so going and buying quality juice from an actual store was really cool.

I went to hawaii last month and I had my vmax in my carry on luggage and nobody said a word

OMG I Loved Hawaii!! Wish that I was vaping the two times that I had been there...spent way too much time finding a place to smoke LOL. Hmmmm I'm thinking I need to keep track of how much money I saved not buying cigs and start putting it away towards going back to Hawaii.

What island(s) did you visit? They are all awesome!
