Just wear a long sleeved shirt to cover up your 'I vape on international airline flights in the restrooms' tatoo.

IOW, follow all the above advice, except mine, relax and enjoy your flight(s)!

@Iffy:
ROFLOL :D

.....

And I have had no problems with taking my little vape container (holds a few batteries and liquids) on international flights within Europe, in my purse. Germany to Estonia round trip, Germany to Mallorca round trip.

vape container- bad English, I mean a thing like this:

Last year, on the flight to Estonia, the airport security wanted to see it. The long metal things :)
So, I opened my purse, openened the vape container and demonstrated an e-cig. Security thought it was neat. :)

On the way back - no interest.
Mallorca this year - no interest. Neither in the German airport nor in the Mallorca airport.

And ... psst... if you stealth vape in the airplane toilet (not blowing out vapor but holding it in, and breathing in again, without vapor, before breathing out) and, of course, breathing out downwards and not up towards the smoke detector - it will NOT set off the smoke detector. How do I know? lalalalala :)

/edit:
And put the rest in your checked luggage, but do package the filled atomizers and the bottles in a plastic bag, they may leak a little from the air pressure changes.

I fly all the time with 2 Reos, a half dozen batteries, and bottles of juice in my carry on. I have had secondary searching once because the x-Ray tech didn't recognize the Reo as a vaporizer at first, but that was once out of maybe 40 flights in the last year. TSA in the US has seen it all at this point and I never get hassled. I just make sure to keep all of my extra juice in a clear plastic bag so that it complies with TSA requirements in case they want to check it out separately.

Put it in your pocket. I used to work at the airport, a little bit of metal is okay. If you want to get, take all other metal off and walk through in one step
yeah, I've heard that. I've also had a penny set off the metal detector. I wouldn't risk it.

I had to show security my K100, because it's an odd shape (http://www.p-vaper.co.uk/WebRoot/St.../181B/08BA/9098/0A0F/1119/89C0/Black_K100.jpg) But only once. Everything else went through without a problem.

There are two hard and fast rules you need to pay attention to.

1. Eliquids in carry-on luggage follow the rules for all liquids. Put juice bottles and filled tanks in your little plastic bag along with your toiletries and medicines. This only applies if you want to have the eliquid in carry-on; there is no problem having as much as you want in your checked bags, in tanks or bottles or whatever.

As has been said, tanks will probably leak so double bag them.

2. Batteries (eg 18650s, not EGOs) that are not in devices, MUST be in carry-on luggage, and they MUST be appropriately packed. This is an international regulation. Appropriate packaging means a purpose-made battery case or retail packaging by preference, although taping the ends and putting them in individual plastic bags is acceptable.

I've had security ignore any number of minor infractions -- tanks not in the bag etc. -- but that's human nature and discretion, not something to depend on.

I think I'll just take 1 tank, battery and a bottle of juice that's not full in a clear plastic bag and put the rest in my case.

I've never been an international vaper before, I feel like I'm stepping up in the vaping community. Around the world vaping =D

Does the eliquid bottles leak or just tanks?k
Just tanks.

The pressure of the air pocket in the tank remains the same as at ground level, but the outside pressure drops. That forces liquid through the wick and out through the air holes and driptip.

Plastic bottles will probably deform a little, but I'd had none of them break. If you are concerned, minimize the air gap in the bottles.
