hello Everyone!

While I was smoking I used an Albuterol inhaler on a regular basis. Since I started vaping, I use it alot less (I still smoke but less than half of my previous use before starting to vape, Ive only been vaping for less than two weeks). Do you still use one and how often?

I thought this might be a neat thread, as for myself am very curious as to how many others use albuterol and how often and how their vaping has affected their use.

Thank you!

I used an inhaler and Advair. Haven't had to touch either one since I stopped smoking.

I used to use one when I was young, used to get these bad allergies that made me whez. Funny thing is after I started smoking I no longer got them, actually heard that's common and sometimes smoking actually suppresses allergy and asthma. They said some people after they quit smoking actually see an increase in them again.

I use it as needed..

I have copd and was taking spiriva and symbicort also my quick inhaler of Albuterol.

However, ive been analog free 8 months now..

I havent used my spiriva or my symbicort in 5 months:D

on occasion i still need my quick inhaler..

I cant stop my copd, but i sure as heck can slow the progress now

good luck on your vaping journey

omgorsh, this is all good news for asthma folks.

Although I never had to use all that,
my son was on a breathing machine about
5 times a day, used pulmicort, and albuterol many times a day......but
that was 5 years ago when I got custody of him.
When he was living with mother/grandparents, there was a lower quality diet
and smoking in their house.
When I got him, I didnt have insurance, and self payed one week supply of pulmicort.
$225 for one week.
Well, I weaned him off of that in the next week, lol.

Started him on a healty diet and fed him right.
We never smoked inside, and within weeks, he was off of the pulmicort, and the
breathing machine.
Had to use the albuterol every time he went to his mothers house.

In the past 3 years, he hasnt touched any of that crap.
Needless to say, he doesnt get to see his mother.
(that is the only downside)

But he is now turning 10 yrs, and enjoy's soccer, swimming, and
best of all.....running/playing without any type of prescription.

And we VAPE INSIDE all day and night!

I was SO happy to read your post! I think it is wonderful you used diet and got him involved in sports to help his condition. People really underestimate what diet and exercise can do for healing. Good job!! Your a great parent! It's a shame he doesn't get to see his mother, maybe you could get her to start vaping too.

Thanks.

I wish Vaping were the only thing hindering the connection,
but unfortunatly, that is the least of the struggle.

He is doing very well, and the asthma is gone.

I just wanted to add my sense on the abuterol theory.
Or should I say prescription theory.

My father takes like 20+ meds, over half are to combat the other half.

Best is to start at the root.
If smoking causes XXX number of problems, then you need to stop smoking period.

If vaping is the stop, then it is.
If the pill works, so be it.
If anything else works, such as crack, (yeah really) then it is a must.
But the cig or additives in it, then cut it from your daily regime.

Sorry to be so hard, but I am really against this whole prescription thing.
The only reason is for the money.
Only reason.
