AiVL's 15 Foot Falls
aivl15ftfalls2.jpg

device(s) Vaped Through: Provari w/ Kangar T3 tank, Vanilla Mod w/ Nimbus, Empire Mod w/ RSST Genesis Atty, Turtle Ship mod w/ Patriot rda.

I always vape a new juice through all my main devices to see which device it shines through. Flavors (to me) always taste different through different devices.

Smell: 9/10 - Complex. Smells very holiday-like Christmas/Thanksgiving Festive. Also smells a lot like a pastry, pie crust maybe. Also reminds me of Boba's Bounty.

Vapor Production: 8/10 - Not sure what PG/VG this is, I believe AiVL uses at least 40% PG in most of their juices, that's just from personal experience, I may be way off, who knows. But it doesn't produce thicker than normal clouds, like a 100% VG would.

Throat Hit (6mg): 7/10 - I'm only judging throat hit out of my Mechanical mods. I do .4ohm dual coils in all my mech mod devices, i only use my provari for flavor reviews because I understand a lot of people use the more simple devices out on the market, and want to know how it vapes through it.

Taste: 9/10 - Amazing! Honey / Pie Crust / Tobacco / Cornbread

Negatives?: Give this flavor some time to steep and develop. AiVL juices should always be steeped with caps ON! That's coming from the owner herself. She told me that once as I tried steeping some Zombie with caps off, and it may have ruined my juice. Steep with caps on for maybe a few days, and it's ready to go... doesn't need long. After steeping you get the real tastey cornbread with honey type taste! Its totally a less-tobacco Boba's Bounty flavor to me. It's more honey, but tastes very similar.

Overall Thoughts: Definitely buy some!! Buy a bunch!! Make this flavor one of their flagship flavors! I absolutely love this juice. I have to leave work right now, but Im going to add some more comments on this later.

This is (in my opinion) one of AiVL's most complex flavors.

I do get the Marshmellow flavor, the cocnut taste only comes out one your first few drags off it, when your wicks are really saturated. I was very worried about the coconut flavor added to this, im not a huge coconut guy. To me, I would love a marshmellow, tobacco, honey, graham cracker!

however...

This juice is amazing!!! To me it tastes like a great Boba's Bounty alternative! Definitely lighter on the tobacco, you can barely taste it, the tobacco only comes out on the exhale, right at the end.

The majority of the flavoring I taste when I take a pull is the honey graham cracker. Mostly all other honey ejuices ive tasted suck, they just suck.

However, Boba's Bounty and 15ft. Falls are the two best hybrid honey ejuices I've ever tasted. 15ft. falls is NOT a subtle flavor, which is different for the AiVL line, it's very bold. Another weird thing I noticed about the juice is that I do not prefer a soaked wick of 15ft falls, this flavor actually gets better, as the wick dries up! it's so strange.

Normally I vape everything through a RDA running .4ohms - .5ohms on a mech. mod. At the moment I'm vaping 15ft. falls through a Vanilla Mod w/ a Patriot RDA running dual coils @ .4ohms Silica wicks, 28g Kanthal. So for me, wet wicks are the best! But again, the flavor wasn't as good if you flood your device with juice... my first few pulls of 15ft. falls i was like "what the hell is this?!" It was a very strange flavor at first.... but as I vaped, and re-dripped it just got better, and better, and better.

This flavor is totally subject to flavor creep.... If you were vaping some other flavor and then dump some 15ft. falls in your device, it will not taste the same.

My advice is to vape this on a clean wick for best results.

Hope this helps you make your next purchase! I will also be doing a comprehensive review of AiVL's entire 2013 line-up..

It's been taking longer than expected to gather pictures, and re-wrap coils over and over and over again for each flavor to give a true review for each flavor through different devices & setups.
