So far as business practices go, would it really be wise to launch a major expansion without knowing the effect of any FDA rulings? Very few investments pay out in two years.

yeah now it's a bad idea but how long have they been running like this over a year correct?

Honestly, it is part of their charm. Everyone who buys from Alice love the whole enchilada--from the "portal" to the cute updates to the juice and the charms on each and the packaging. They are special and fun. And if you really want to buy from them you will be at the portal when it opens. They don't have to be like every other vendor if they are enjoying the fun of being Alice and folks who buy from them (again and again, I might add) enjoy the fun of it s well. In point of fact, it is NOT a bad idea, but a very good one and it works!

i may have lol'ed ;)

I believe they're actually open noon on Tuesday through noon on Wednesday now....so you can try for Wed morning if you forget :)

Word of warning, their shipping is a little slow too, depending on what you're used to. I assume they get bombarded w/orders on Tuesday, then it takes awhile to bottle/package/ship them all. My last order took about a week to ship....but I placed it early Wednesday morning so I assume I was closer to the bottom of the list.

Enjoy! :)

Correction: it takes awhile to MIX, bottle/package/ship them all.

IMHO what AiV has done is followed the business model THEY are happy with. COULD they open a bigger mixing place and hire more employees to keep up? Sure they could. That would involve more expenses and headaches. But its THEIR business, and they are happy and successful with it. If people dont want to play by THIER rules theres alot of other places to order from.

I just wanted to add that the first time I got juice from AIV, it was a gift that an ECF friend sent me. It was TOTALLY personalized--the box of samples, a note with my name that said my friend hoped I'd enjoy their juice and so did they, and so on. I still have that note hanging on my fridge because it was so neat. They obviously love being small--just big enough to give it their all--and love what they do. I have found in life that folks who love what they are doing tend to produce the best results from their work. AIV is no exception.

Sounds like excuses to me they probably have a owner that is scared to grow and take any risks.

If it bothers you that much why don't you just take over their business and fix it for them. You seem to assume everything has a price, so make a damned offer or go buy some place else.

Ordered six different juices 12 minutes after the portal opened. Checked out some more reviews and input from other folks too. Checked the "back rooms" and am actually looking forward to getting my package from them.

I ordered as soon as they opened yesterday. this place is unique for sure I have a feeling I will like the juices I ordered

Alice is extremely popular and make amoung the fines juices you can buy. They also aren't the type of company that just wants as much money as they can get and then have you wait 3+ weeks to get your juice. Those closings are there for good reason. Just check back everyday or so and you'll get your chance.

Its really not a problem. The first time I went to order from them I felt the same way...now I buy most of my juices from them, Ive been exclusively vaping them and a little 5 pawns here and there since last winter...its just what they do, as long as I put my order in tuesday or wednesday Ive never had a problem ordering and I know it takes a good 10 days to come in. Its how they operate, dont sweat it. Or if its that big of a problem order from MBV or somewhere like that, but youll be missing out, trust, nobody has juices like thiers

Oh no..not this subject again. I don't order AiV anymore, just because I have another favored vendor but I understand and respect their business model and after a few years of doing this they come in very high on the list of quality vendors I've had experience with. Search for a now archived thread about Ms Ts if you want an idea about small vendors who want to "maintain" quality and never close and where that can lead. A vendor who stays open 24/7, takes your money immediately and delivers your juice MONTHS later, or never..with ever diminishing quality as apparently being overloaded makes you cut corners. Way back when Alice took orders all the time and got backed up enough that people really had to wait long times and they decided to fix that in order *not* displease customers while keeping their juice made to their standards. Good on them! Several other vendors similarly backed up back when vaping was kind of exploding chose instead to mass-produce, limit their ratios, limit their flavors, or do a Ms T's. and just let people sit and wait while they spent their cash. There are plenty of factory style vendors available all the time but if you want custom, human-crafted artisan juices..it's no different than anything else; it has to be made by humans and they have limits. Not everyone is infinitely greedy, either. Alice, Ahlusion, some other vendors really care an awful lot about their product. Stupid? Maybe, if it's big bucks that would be the goal. Or maybe not. Satisfied, returning, devoted customers loving and regularly buying a product that you feel really good about making might be a reward for some people, crazy as that sounds. ;->
