Ok well...... I am vaping Tokala as I type. I will do my best to describe what I get but this is not an easy one. First off, yes it is a clear juice, somewhere in the middle of thick and thin. It smells really nice but have not been able to pick out any outstanding smell. I am going to need suggestions for my mind to wrap around. Seasonal allergies certainly are not helping, Achoo!! The smell is smooth, subtle and very pleasing. So pleasing that instead of dripping or filling a small tank, I went right for my mini sub. I have a stock .5 head and it is on my Sigelei 150 at 22 watts. I started out lower but that is as high as I have gone with it at this point. I have had several try it but none of us have been able to pick out any flavors that are in your face. So, if it has a fruit in it then it is a very mild tasting fruit because I would not classify this as a fruity juice. I do have to say though, my first thought was that it made me think of juicy fruit gum. That gum, however, to me is not overly fruity hahahaha. I would go the bakery route but it is not overly sweet like maple or something. More like maybe something that has a slight drizzling of honey? If I had to pick a flavor for it right now, with no other suggestions I would have to go with maybe apple, with a bit of honey.

Whatever the heck is in this I can tell you one thing for sure. I LOVE IT!!!!

Just stumbled into this thread and I am super excited. I really need some advice. Aiv is the only juice that I have found that I love and really the only one I use is Zombie Apocalypse.(11mg) I am using a nautilus mini on an istick 20. (8 watts) The flavor is just not coming thru for me. Can anyone suggest a setup that would give me more flavor. I am pretty new to all this and this juice has changed it all for me!!! Love it! Thanks!

Hi and welcome Jenhenry. If you bump it up to 9 or 10watts does it taste burnt to you? There are many many set ups out there so without having a bit more info it would be hard to suggest. I vape my AiV in different set ups and I am never feeling like there is a lack of flavor. I use everything from a simple Vission Spinner with a Kanger Aerotank, I have used mini Nauts on my istick but have given all the few I had to friends to help them get started vaping. I find for me my best set up is my sigelei 150 with a kanger subtank (any size that suits). I like both the .5 head and 1.2 head and my own builds. I also have a xproBT50 that I pair with a Kanger subtank and a handful of MVP's that I use various size Kanger aerotanks ons. I find for myself 14 or 15 watts suits me with the Kanger 1.5 coils that go in the aerotanks. Any more and it gets burnt. ICK!!!

Your set up should be delivering nice flavor so I have to wonder if it may be something else. Play around with wattage a bit and see how that does for you. Also if you have recently quit cigs then that could be it alone. Your tastebuds need time to repair. Or it could be that you are not drinking enough water. I know this might sound silly but take a nice couple of gulps of good ole H2O then vape and see if that gets you more taste. There is so much out there and the price range is so varied that I hesitate to recommend anything when I know your current setup is an excellent one for somebody fairly new.

Thanks Paleo for the bday wishes for my Mom. She was well today so I was pleased. She suffers from advanced severe dementia so there is next to never any recognition but today she saw me as me so my heart is singing. Most visits are more for me so I can see her beautiful smile and just hug her.

A very Happy (belated) Birthday to you!!!!!

Last night when I was just smelling Tokala I did get a spicy scent plus some type of nut (maybe even peanut butter). This morning I decided to taste it and got a very slight veggie taste with spice and definitely not in a bad way with no nut. This afternoon I no longer get the veggie however I still get a very slight spice taste. There is something in this ejuice that I taste and feel I have had before but cannot put my finger — or my taste — on it. Then out of the clear blue my mind for whatever reason told me butterscotch or perhaps gingerbread. Sometimes I feel there is a flavor in Tokala that gives off a sensation of some sort. Tokala is definitely a sly fox and perhaps with a good steep it will become clearer. Until then I am truly baffled. We may never come to a concensus on what Tokala taste like other than we like it for what it is.

jode: I do not get pear although I generally do not get much taste from a pear.

Where’s morri? She always can taste flavors really well.

Jenhenry welcome, nice to see a new face here. I have both the Nautilus and Kanger sub tanks. My preference is the Nautilus and personally it gives me better flavor than the sub tanks. Jode gave some good points. Let us know if they helped even a little. BTW I generally vape at 9 to 10 watts using the 1.6 ohm coil heads.

I am such a newb. 9 watts to me just sounds funny as I vape most of mine at 60watts with rdas. I guess I went from evod tanks with ego batteries to full on rda with my sig150 and didn't realize a middle ground I missed. Although I did recently pick up my first tank since leaving the kangers behind. The Cthulhu rta is very nice. It has a nice build deck that I ended up putn the same build that I do on my rdas on it. Its the lowest watts I vape now at 35watts its flavor for days and happy clouds but the thing drinks the juice as 4mls go real fast! No leaks or dry hits. Its my on the go setup with my ipv2 mini. On my sig150 I have the mini mad hatter great flavor but not a fan of the bottom airflow most of the time I use my trolls as they seeem balance for flavor and clouds... I am glad to keep up on this thread as I do learn what others are using and the results they get.

Happy Clouds to all

That was a friend that got the pear. We both thought there is a fruitiness to it but not a strong one, that is why we went in the direction of apple or pear because they are subtle fruits. I wonder if the spice you are getting is clove like but not as a forefront. I am trying it at different watts and it really isn't helping me to decipher it. I would love a hint of the direction they were going with it. Bah, in the end I guess all that matters is whether I like it or not.

There is so much middle ground. Of course if you have the wattage set too low on a subtank it will be pretty leaky but I find you can go as low as 20 with no problems. I was asked a while ago what my vape style was and I asked if I was supposed to pick just one. lol. I am that buffet type of gal. I need choices thruout my day and tons of variety. It's the spice of life you know.:pervy:
