Congrats to you as well! That was a great story we had going there! I think honourable mention should go to Paleo for best run on sentence Ever! Pretty impressive:laugh:

The poor thing" remarked the cat slyly, "He's been in such a fluster ever since the Queen remarked that she'd have his head if he was ever late for tea again, although I can't see why ANYONE would want a head like that, especially if one were into the habit of having heads, there are so many more heads that would be much more desirable to have if one were having heads than his", and with that the cat vanished, leaving only his almond shaped eyes peering aimlessly at Alice.

:lol::lol: I know, right? My English Comp professor would have had my head for that one! When I wrote that, I was thinking of a character that talked fast and went on and on without taking a breath! I looked at it and said "Hmmmm...needs a period here....needs one here......oh well that's what coma's are for:laugh:". It was fun!

Finally got in an order of 60ml Zombie and Berry...........with a bottle of Bombana:) March and April just aren't the best of months for me, so I've been dragging while trying to get the usual spring stuff done...grrr!
My mute swans, Juan and Juanita have laid their 3rd clutch of eggs in as many years, and un-officially started their incubation count down on April Fool's Day. (5 eggs total) 6 weeks of the 2 of them taking turns on the eggs. Their first attempt 3 years ago had Juanita leaving the nest 2 weeks before the hatch date, and the eggs chilled too much for the "foster" mom, one of the geese, to bring them to hatch. The 2nd attempt was in the incubator..........and the digital thermostat went out 3 weeks into the incubation process. URGH!
In the past, usually this place was jumping with baby critters, but the last few years have been a bit dismal.
Missing the spring babies.:(

That is so cool!! You will have to let us know how they make out. I work at a racetrack and we get a lot of Canada geese that come and nest. They try to discourage them, because they tend to chase people (not the horses oddly enough) while protecting their nest and they get on the racetrack. We get raccoons-skunks-ducks-pigeons-foxes-it's baby land here in the spring. I love when the white(Trumpet?)swans come back from their migration in March-they have such a distinctive call and so beautiful to watch.

I just popped in for a moment to say hello and let everyone know that I did not die yet. lol

So, contest? Is that what we are doing?

How fun! be back a little while and see if I can play.

huggles and sweet kisses to one and all.

Morri

Yes, you can post as many times as you want, but you can add only one sentence at a time, and you can't post twice in a row.
Sorry, didn't mean to detract from this fun contest, but I thought I saw people adding more than one sentence at a time. So, please go on. I don't mean to derail this contest. :)

That's how I read it
