Alice in vapeland question

If I could only have one juice to vape, it would be Fifteen Foot Falls. Not a fan of A Quiet Morning- has an herby taste to me. Likewise White Rabbit. I find I like sweeter juices-April Moon-Lil Berry Cheesecake-Black and White Cookie are all amazing-not subtle in the least. Frost Blossom and Cherry Blossom are other favs for me as well. I loved all of them right away. Cupcake City, Lemon Loves Cake, Zombie Apocolypse, 'twas Brilig definitely gets richer and more flavourful with age.

There is a B&M store by me that is a wholesaler of AIV & they informed me that a lot of their juice is best to vape right out of the mail. This came after I got a old bottle of 15 foot falls that tasted odd and smelled nasty. I ordered a fresh batch and all 3 bottles/flavors were spectacular right out of the mail. I did also notice that they all taste weird in cartos. But in my Russian they jumped to the top of my juice list. Vaped most of a 30 mil bottle of Zombie Apocalypse in 2 days! April Moon is really good but is too much for a ADV IMO. Twas Brillig is another one of my ADV.

I have tried the Zombie Apocalypse and loved it....might try to give the bottles a good shaking first
now that said what I tried I had bought from a user that stopped vaping so I have no idea how "old" the juice was...so I would say let it steep for a while then try it again

I also found AiV to be rather underwhelming. And I've been vaping for two years now. While the juices did not taste terrible after a month + steep, they just don't have much flavor at all to me. Some would call that "subtle flavors". Perhaps my tastes are too plebeian for this, (according to the devoted fans of AiV), nectar of the gods. *grin*

Personally, I want very flavorful juices and I also like being able to request a 50/50 blend. I also don't want to have to spend a silly amount of money buying juice. So with that in mind, I tend to order mostly from: Highbrow Vapors, AltCig, Tasty Vapor, and ECblend Flavors.

I agree about AiV not tasting so great in cartos. I don't think they're weird, just nothing to write home about. I've been dripping them instead and they taste much better. Steeping also helps. That said, their flavors are more subtle.

Not a fan myself. I bought a 5-pack sampler and 2 30mls, so including free samples I've tried Zombie, Rabbit, Quiet Morning, 15ft Falls, Afternoon Tea, Berry Lil Cheesecake, Twas Brillig, B&W Cookie and Lemon Loves Cake. Tested them all right away. Loved 15ft, disliked the rest. AQM and LLC were... ok, but too subtle. It's been over a month and I still just don't like them. The bakery flavors especially have a taste to them that reminds me of chewing on paper, or paper being processed or something. That was the day I learned not to order larger bottles until I've tried something first.

Of the AiV juices I've tried April Moon is the only that I think has a stronger flavor, it's good fresh and also steeps well.

Hmm- strange-maybe because it's a naturally extracted tobacco flavour?? I vape it straight out of the mail till it's gone. Just got a 60 ml bottle. Doubt it will take more than a couple months before it's gone-April Moon is amazing

I always prefer mine fresh, or lightly steeped. After a few months, the flavors degrade IMO. In glass they hold up a little better, in my experience, but only slightly. I can't use them in cartos because the flavor is just too "off." I'm not a clearo fan, but I think they work well in some clearos. I still prefer dripping, but I can't wait to get a Russian 91% and try them out in it. I agree about April Moon being good, but too much for an ADV. I love it in the evenings, though, like right before bed with a cup of honey-vanilla-chamomile tea.

I agree with the majority that I was underwhelmed with AIV when I got my sampler. I like FLAVOR and they just didn't have it. The bakery flavored one's have an off-putting aftertaste that's hard to overlook. I let them steep for a month and they still didn't satisfy. I don't see having to buy a $90 RBA or whatever just to make them taste good, that's ludicrous. They don't taste right being dripped, or in carto's, or in most clearo's, really? That says alot. But imo AIV is not the vendor of ejuice for me. It has it's following and that's great. As stated in another post taste is subjective!

Why try and make yourself like them? If you dont like AiV you just dont. Theyre by far my favorite vendor but Ive heard people say that about Ave or even *snicker* MBV and I find them underwhelming, I dont question why other people like them, I just buy from who I like. Theres nothing youre not getting

They (AiV) should probably make this more obvious, but from their FAQ:

Q: I like it but I need stronger flavor for my palette.

A: New vapers and people whose tastebuds are still recovering from years of smoking may need extra flavor. Except for sample sizes, just specify ‘extra flavor’ in the special instructions box and we’ll make the flavor extra strong for you (except for Frost Blossom and Cherry Blossom which already are at their maximum). Our flavors may be more subtle than what you’ve had before, and not give you a huge flavor kaPOW when you first vape them. But over time, in our opinion, the subtlety can give an overall stronger vaping experience, and we strongly prefer the Alice-style flavor strength over extra flavor. This is because between pulls, the flavor receptors have a chance to ‘forget’ and be surprised all over again. If you try vaping lighter juices like ours, you may find that you love it! And you won’t end up with a mouth coated in flavor

You don't need to buy a $90 rba, just add the extra flavor when ordering.

I literally bought the one that has 16 samplers in it. And I bought a bottle of zombie apocalypse. I tried the zombie which I think might end up being ok after steeping longer but still wasn't near as flavorful as it sounded. I tried the "quiet morning" which is suppose to taste like green tea and passionfruit aka pee, tried the white rabbit, and 15 foot falls. Nothing was as impressive as it sounded from the reviews. I bought directly from them though so I have read that they take a little longer to steep since not pre-steeped. I'm just hoping this is a fluke. I really want them to be as good as everyone says!

I too found quiet morning to taste like pee smells! Like cat pee or something.
I did not like a lot of the juices when they first came in, although i have not retried quiet morning, i can say twas brillig, and white rabbit are two of my fave all time vapes. I just wont touch the bottles for about a month!

Alice definitely gets better with a long steep time. Just put it away for awhile and see how it is. I never did get to the place where I cared for White Rabbit, but the rest are pretty good.
