Alien mod

I have a smok alien mod. Just recently after I changed out the batteries temp just start going up as soon I turned it on. It went from 27°c to 50°c within seconds. What might be causing this?

Hahaha. This happened to me.. its in settings. Get out the manual.. you have it set to adjust when you tilt the mod!

The Alien doesn't have that feature

Were the batteries still warm when you put them in the mod?
