The Long Review:

It took me awhile to get my hands on Gorilla juice, other times it was in stock I was after something else or already getting my months worth of juice and didn't need anymore...but this time the stars aligned and I finally got my hands on Gorilla Juice from
Alien Visions E-Juice

Shipping was fantastic...could not have been faster.

Lets break this bad boy down

TASTE: As I said in my short review this has a lot of similar elements as Boba's bounty, that hint of smokiness you find in Boba's is here...as well as a nice tobacco taste under it all...the banana flavor comes out as a cooked banana...a fried banana (maybe even fried plantain as it isn't that sweet) to be exact like you get at many Chinese restaurants. It blends exceptionally well into the other flavors....this is now my favorite tobacco based ejuice, normally I wouldn't say that this soon into the vape but the elements are familiar to me from Boba's and this banana overtone makes an excellent all around Taste package.

Vapor: its 100% VG, its good vapor....it isn't as thick as some other 100% VG juices...but it is nice and thick also very similar to Boba's in the amount produced

Throat Hit: ...not that high...not as high as boba's actually, I am doing this on a 2.3 ohm atty on an eGo @ 18mg...have not moved it to 2.0 ohms or a true LR but I can't imagine this juice is going to karate chop your throat compared to other tobacco vapes.

Overall- Love this juice, one of my favorites so far the bannana is there but doesn't taste artificial or sweet...the smokey tobacco is there...just a fantastic vape, worth trying to get your hands as I could easily vape this all day.

whew I spoke to soon about the TH...on a LR atty it definitely has some...and a bit more of the boba spice comes out as well...still a really good vape.
I think I am going to get another bottle of this today as there is no way I am letting this one steep.

I was thinking about reviewing this myself but your review covers it all. Definitely my new fave juice. I tried it 3.7 and 5v. I like it in the 3.7 much better because it just seemed sweeter.

Its really a good vape in my opinion, especially for boba lovers...in fact I think this is a great flavor for when you want something different than boba...but you still want many of the same elements.
This is slightly less spicy and just a tad bit sweeter...I find Boba changes flavor based on what you are vaping it on...at lower resistance or higher voltage you get more spice and the same holds true for this as well. I find my sweet spot for this juice to be a true 3.7 with a 2ohm boge cartomizer...man its just a good smokey/plantain/boba taste.
Alien Visions has really captured that elusive "smokey" taste in these two juices

on the other hand I got some of his Banana Slurry...just to go completely banana on that order and THAT vapes like a banana laffy taffy...or maybe a banana milkshake...its good as well but a totally different take on the banana flavor...the slurry is that sweet smoothie style banana...this Gorilla juice is a much more subdued mellow creature.

If I am not mistaken AV orders a mix he contracts from Dekang. So he orders the mix from Dekang. i have most of the ingredients he uses in my own Dekangs.
The Gorilla mix is , banana-30%, a touch of coconut 10%, regular Dekang tobacco 40%, slight touch of vanilla 10%, seems like a rum 10% and 10% other??
I had Gorilla given to me for my birthday from my non Christian sister.. it was good. but I have tons of Dekang here and mixed what i thought was the ingredients..and what I gave..it taste really close.

I did a search here on AV and it appears not only i but other who have contacted AV indeed say that AV orders his stuff from China already made..sorry to break the party, but it aint only AV..but about 90% of all vendors in the West like totally Wicked, Cignot, Wet Your Stick...
AV has a different formula..but you can if order huge quantities get it specifically made..like mix how you want. i am not puting down Gorilla Juice..it is very good..but please show me evidence that AV doesnt get from China? Just do a search here from other posters of Av and they will say what i am saying.
Anyway, so what if he does? If it is good stuff just enjoy..his prices are fair..juice is good so..enjoy!

Because he says he doesn't order it from Dekang.....I have no problem with Dekang juice.

Further I don't know where you are getting your numbers but 90% seems a bit high. But you could be right as most equipment vendors do use dekang. However most juice makers...the US based ones, do not.

Totally liquid red label juices are dekang, but only the red label juices the black label is not, nor is the patriot line or the premiere.

Just to be sure I will contact Ben after the Christmas weekend...and ask for clarification but I believe the above statement was pretty clear.

The AV website does not specify the origin of their e-liquid. The only info I could find about this is here:

Best American e-liquid | USA eliquid manufacturers

"e-Liquid origin: India/China/USA"

The only way to find out for sure would be to contact Ben at AV. BestLion has good points... if it's good and you like it then keep vaping. I'm sure that most of the e-liquid from American suppliers is probably not purely American in origin.

I contacted Ben a while ago to ask about this and this was his response:

"Alien Visions E-Juice gets all of its flavorings from a variety of American sourced providers, such a mix that the list would be long and inappropriate to list here. However, our BASE nicotine liquid (unflavored) does come from overseas, two labs in fact that are kept in contention with each other so I get the best rates. However, neither of these are Dekang, nor does any of the flavoring come from a Dekang source nor is it derived from Dekang...in ANY way. Our tobacco line does get a natural/synthetic mixed nic-liquid which retains a strong tobacco natural flavoring.. again still not Dekang/Boge/etc. I hope this helps clear up some people's information. The internet is prey to half-truths that get filled in with opinion and conjecture. This is expected and, I thought, widely recognized. It's not that anyone is wrong, it simply that when information lays stagnant or doesn't get updated regularly it tends to change through retelling. Looks like we can put this whole Dekang thing to rest. Besides, if you've ever tasted Ben's Juices they are on a whole different level than Dekang, in my opinion.

Drum and Golden, thanks for the clarification.. i was just of the opinion "not fact' that AV received its juices from China.. to me its really no big deal. What is most important to me is 1. good taste 2. Good honest company 3. right price.
Alien vision is one of the best tasting ejuices on the market hands down! its a good company and ships fast.. price is fair but since I live overseas shipping kills me.
if i lived in the states I would likely get my juices from him.. hell even if he is 4 dollars more for 30ml then the China firms...its still substantially cheaper then returning to analogs and the taste is A+
