I have no clue. it says on the website. I don't know a whole lot about these mods but I know that I'm going to get bored of my riva sooner rather than later. Currently obsessing between either picking up a high voltage box mod with juice feeder system, like the Ali'i VV, or getting a big batt high voltage tube mod, like the ProVari or Buzz, and adding a VapeMate to the mix. I think it would be cheaper to go with the box mod, but I am wary of mods in general because of bad experiences with my 5v prodigy and JuiceBox.

Those are some nicely designed mods and VV is THE way to go, IMO but is jumping through all those hoops worth it?

To some it will be, to others no. It's a beautiful wood mod with a juice feeder and offered in vv version. It's hand crafted which is why it has limited supply and hard to get. One could get a vapemate and put it on just about any vv and have the same thing performance wise but will loose what appeals most to some in the Ali'i. Just depends on the person and what matters most to them.

The vv version Ali'i uses 2x CR123 Batteries. The one from Lighthound are 750mah. The 3.7v version uses a 18650.

The battery life should be a little better than 4-6 hours then. I use the same batts in my Buzz and vape like a maniac at 4.7 and 5.6 volts and 6 hours is a minimum. I have 750 mAh AW 3.7s and 880 mAh Ultrafire 3.7s. The two different batts seem to last the same to me.
The POT (regulator) uses a trace amount of power constantly but not enough to be noticed, really.

yeah that is a good point. Also I heard the batt life is in the 4-6 hour range...don't like the idea of carrying around two extra batts. what about vs the phidas with feedimus?

I have both and have found that the batts (I rotate between 16340 550 mah 3.7V high drain IMRs & AW 3.7V CR123a 750 mah) on the VV Ali'i last about 5 - 6 hours (with the VV sortof set at the approx 4 - 5 V range). The Phidias uses an 18650 and that can easily last me a full day and well into the next day. I have gotten a couple days out of it when I rotate with at least one other device every once in awhile.

In fact, the 18650 is so powerful on the Phidias, I can't even put an LR atty it because it steams the juice. I've been good with the standard atty (2.5 - 2.7 ohm) on my Phidiae in general. Right now, I have an older LR that is getting weak, so I'm dripping some BWB blueberry on it and am firing it up on one of my Phidiae and it is performing well (as opposed to being almost non-existent on my VV Big Brother, where I was afraid to crank the volts up on that with the LR on it).

I believe you can put an 18650 in the VV Ali'i, it just won't give you the higher voltages.
