so my authentic plume veil is the best rda ive ever used. but theres a gold plated version out now. besides looking BA, does a gold cap improve conductivity?

I would assume that no conductivity goes through the "cap" as its attached to the atty base with rubber o-rings.
What he said. The current should go from the positive post, through the coil, to the negative post into the deck, then back into your mod. Shouldn't go through the top cap at all

The cap is not part of the circuit, otherwise the device wouldn't fire when you took the cap off....so no improvement in conductivity, unless the entire RDA is gold plated?

Correct. That's the way mine is and that's their original design. If I recall correctly, there were some prototypes that didn't have a gold deck either.

I'll probably just wait until I can get the gold top cap separate and swap it back and forth with my SS on the gold deck.
