I was disappointed with some of the pre-mixed fruit e-juices I have tried. The flavors tasted like fruit but they just didn’t have much pop to them. So I picked up an assortment of Lorann fruit flavors (Watermelon, Cherry, Peach, Pineapple, etc) with the plans of making some e-Juices with intense flavor.

I can get a hint of fruit flavor but it seems like I can’t get intense flavor. It just turns bitter. I have tried adding EM (Cotton Candy flavor from PA) and it helps with the bitterness but I seem to lose the flavor. It just seems to turn flat with a hint of fruit flavor.

I have tried some of the fruit recipes here on the ECF. Unfortunately, many of them don’t say what flavor manufacture is being used. I know that flavor concentrate varies from one manufacture to the next. So 10% of Watermelon from FA will probably be way to much where 10% of Lorann might not be enough.

Does anyone have a Lorann Fruit recipe that they have used and feel has an intense taste?

Thanking you in advance.

I wish I could help, I bought a 1 dram 6 pack sampler plus 2 more 1 dram flavors and they've pretty much been a waste of money for me.

My sister likes the watermelon, I kinda like the grape, but have the same bitterness problem. I've tried PA's cotton candy and mixing at different percentages but the only results I get are no taste or bitter taste. I'm not even sure if bitter is the word for it, it's just strange, unpleasant and kind of hard to describe.

So, I pretty much gave up and I'm sticking to my PA flavors until I can afford to try some other brands.

I hear you. It's a weird, somewhat chemical taste. The cotton candy does make it better but not really.

The best Watermelon I have made was with PA flavors. The recipe is:

43% 50mg PG Based Unflavored
34% Pure VG
12% Watermelon (PA Flavor)
11% Cotton Candy (PA Flavor)

This recipe makes 22mg strength juice.

It doesn't taste all that hot when you mix it but after 2 days it isn't bad at all. Very vapable and a Nice aftertaste.

VG flattens out or dulls flavors, try cutting back on the VG and use plain PG instead. Sometimes a little PGA will help make the flavor "pop" as well.

I've had pure VG base e-Juices that are Very Intense. Perhapse it is the PGA that adds the needed pop. What % would you suggest in a mix?

Do you have a fruit recipe that you like?
