So i dripped straight pg on my iglow and its nasty bitter on my tongue.

Sounds like you got some bad PG, especially if you never noticed the bitter taste with the B&M juices you've had. I would try some different PG.

The second will be given like this. 8 drops of this flavor and then 4 drops of that flavor. How is this a proper unit of measurment? How many drops per mil? What are they dripping from? Whats the total ml?

Am I missing something to these recipes?

No, you're not missing anything. Measuring by drops is not very accurate. If I see a recipe that interests me, but its just given in drops and no percentages I skip it and move on. Drops can vary greatly by different droppers, viscosity and how hard you squeeze.

I've been mixing by weight the last few weeks and feel it's the best way to get an accurate mix and is SO easy. Much faster and less cleanup too.

I don't mess with recipes in drops unless it's add 1 drop of AP, Lemon, or ACV per 5 or 10ml. I can understand drops in those instances.

If your going to add water to thin out a pure VG mixture, I suggest you use Distilled Water. You can get it for around $1 per gallon at the grocery store. I've seen people add anywhere from 5%-20%. The other day I believe I saw someone say they add an amount + flavors that would equal 20% (ex: if they were adding 10% flavors, they added 10% Distilled Water). I would try without and if it's to thick and not wicking properly add 5% and see if that's enough. Like flavor it's easier to add more than try and take it out.

Cheers,
Steve
