Unless you can't stand the taste, this might be a better use for it-never know...
Tried some Sally's once. Tasted just like a bandaid smells 'for me'. Chucked it! I've got a ton of cotton and like it so I just never bothered with rayon again. I also really like cheesecloth in an appropriate application.

I started with KGD. Got it specifically because it was mentioned so frequently in these forums. Then got a bunch of other JOC that came with RTAs some came free with 100' of Kanthol. All the same to me. The cotton taste doesn't bother me and dissipates quickly. But that bandaid taste was WAY yuck!

Hi guys.

I got my icare today and it doesnt seem to work. I loaded it up with some juice and when i got to take a puff it keeps flashes(blinks) green but no vapor.i charged it for about an hr but still nothing. When connected to a usb the red led light flashed for about 3 seconds and then turns off, so not even sure if its charging. any idea?
Oh, thank you for showing us that these do have short circuit protection,:thumb:

@Burnie do you still like your icare? I'm thinking about getting one for when i'm out somewhere where a stealth vape is the only way to vape - I was looking for something small I can basically hide in my hand and that doesnt look like a conventional mod with tank. I've read through most of the posts here and it sounds like it will work for what I want but I'd like to hear if you still like it since you've had it for a while.

Yes I do :) Matter of fact, when we took the son out to lunch today, I had one in my pocket, and we talked about it in the restaurant while waiting on lunch (son started vaping a few weeks ago). It is not my All Day Vape, but it does come in handy at certain times, like today. :D

Has anyone else noticed the tank turning on theirs. On 2 of mine they have spun around to where I can see the end of the black fill lines?

Thanks Burnie. BTW were you affected by the hurricane last month?

Haven't noticed that on mine, but I don't use it a lot. Could be the tank turning a little from repeated filling.

Not here. We are in the center of the state, so we just got a windy day, not even much rain, we have worse with some afternoon thunder storms. :)

Anyone found a way to rewick / rebuild the coils?

I know it's cheap, but living in a country where vaping is illegal and getting stuff is almost 3-4X the price.

Was quoted about $40USD for icare mini in my local black market.
5 Pack of coil head could cost anything from $20-$40 USD.
Yes the coils can be rebuilt, but I would not recommend trying it unless you are experienced at rebuilding coils. These are hard due to the size. I have had trouble wicking them with KGD and Rayon, but Silica sheets seem to be working OK.

Well, it's been nearly 2 months now with my 4 minus 1

I really would not recommend that sort of investment in these things. I have 4 of them for less than 2 months now. Already I've had one start leaking badly. 2 others the tanks have twisted around inside the mod, I can't understand why they aren't leaking. I haven't needed to use the 4th one yet.
Rebuilding the coils really isn't practical IMO. Especially if materials are hard to get. I rebuild them for entertainment but only about 20% of my rebuild actually work well. It's like some folks sit on the back porch and whittle. Serves no real purpose other than keeping my hands busy.

It does stay in the bra well. Thats a plus.

That's one of the first things I tried with mine! If I put it in the middle, I end up having to fish it out from where it fell further down later, but it stays very well if you just tuck it into one of the cups.

I should preface this part. This is my first post here. I am not a heavy vapor or into the technical side, and I don't use anything higher than 3mg, if that. Most of my juices are 0. I started vaping because 1) if I get much nicotine in my system, it makes me nauseated, but 2) I can't be around people who are smoking/vaping unless I'm doing it as well. I picked up an iCare Mini and my husband got a Kangertech DripEZ, if that tells you anything about the level of seriousness involved. ;)

I gave my black and gray AIO D19 to a friend last night, as I'd pretty much quit using it in favor of the Kangertech Cupti. That being said...I had liked the AIO enough that after it fell out of my bag on an airplane, never to be seen again, I bought another one, and I'm cheap. I probably would have kept using it if I hadn't been shown how to lock the Cupti to keep the settings from changing all the time. The Cupti is overcomplicated for my purposes, but I wanted something I could change the battery in instead of plugging in all the time, and I have problems holding round pens and having them roll off places (see: how I lost the first AIO). The Cupti is probably going to be relegated to being my car vape for long trips and when we're going to be out for long enough that I don't want to refill the Mini 3 times, but the Mini is probably going to be my everyday ones that goes all over the place with me. I almost always have a big purse or backpack, so I can take a bottle of juice and the PCC with me.

I'm getting more flavor from the Mini than I was from the AIO or the Cupti, and the Mini fits in my pocket (and bra!) much better than either did (although the Cupti would stay in place in the middle :p). I'm getting more cloud from the Mini than the Cupti, using the same juice (Smokin' Crow Cowabunga, 3mg, at the moment). The Cupti likes to fire in my pocket. The Mini does not, but we have a minivan with a sun roof, and if we crack it and the windows, the draw is enough sometimes to start the Mini!

I bought it at a local vape shop, even though it cost about twice as much as it does online, because we like our shop and he takes good care of us (plus, if he quit doing $5 clearance juices, vaping would be much more expensive for us ). The coils run $2 in the shop.

Random questions (about the Mini):

1) Do y'all end up with a little "puddle" of juice on the top of the mouthpiece?
2) How the heck do you clean the inside of the mouthpiece? Q-tip with alcohol? I've just been rolling the corner of a tissue and twisting it in every time I refill, but I'm pretty certain I'll need to do some heavier duty cleaning.
3) Do your lips get dryer using the Mini, or did I just happen to get it the day before I ate jalapenos and the weather changed?

Answers from a full size owner.

1. Never noticed it on top of the mouthpiece. But top of the air tube is always wet.

2. I just twirl a strip of paper towel into a sort of pipe cleaner and pull it thru.

3. Never really noticed this happening .
