Well I searched and didn't find a thread about the iCare or iCare mini, so I figured I would start a thread for questions and answers about them. Mine is on the way from FT, but is on a slow boat. :(

If you already have one please give us your thoughts on how it works.

I have a few questions right off the bat. :)

    1. How is the battery life? Does it last the whole tank?
    2. How is the Flavor of the juice? Some devices work better than others for flavor.
    3. How easy is it to clean and change flavors?
    4. Have you found a good source for replacement coils?
    5. Has anyone tried to rebuild/clean the coils?

Lets get the chat going. :D

I just received my new icare kit. The battery life is phenomenal I got 5 hours of steady vape had to put it to the test. The recharge is amazingly fast under 1 hour for all 5 recharges now. The flavor is actually really good despite the fact it's a 15 watt toy the vapor production is ridiculous for this tiny thing. It's super easy to clean I use a qtip it fits in there perfect easy to refill as well just don't over tighten or you can ruin you're cap (strip the plastic) which is you're tool as well as mouth piece. And have found 5 packs of coils for as low as 1$all the way up to 5$ which is amazing. BUT I have successfully rebuilt my coils using 26 gauge kenthal wire and I am even more happy with those coils than stock ones the rebuilt coils produce wayyyy more vapor and is yet still a cold vape. Haven't noticed a change in battery life since I have made my own coils. If you want to get some pictures on the rebuild or even a video hit me up.

I just Piffed away my iCares. They just couldn't dethrone my Vamo boxes with Ego One toppers. But I'd still be very interested in your rebuild pics/video.

I hardly use mine anymore due to the lag time for them to fire. If it weren't for that, they would be great.
I never did experience that with mine. Maybe cuz I was DL-ing them and hitting that hard was slamming the actuator into gear quicker. In the end I decided my trying to DL on a device that was never intended for it was the cause of my issues.

Got my iCare starter package last month. It was working perfectly until about a week ago. All of a sudden it started to do this thing I can only describe as "runaway vaping."

It's totally intermittent, so it's a pain in the ... to diagnose. Every so often, after vaping for a couple of minutes, it will suddenly continue to vape on it's own without me inhaling on it. If I let it go, it will continue until it starts to blink green and then stop. Once that happens the only thing it will do is blink green when I inhale.

I've tried charging it then vaping it, vaping while it's charging but all it will do is blink green until I change the coil. After changing the coil it will work again for a few days and then do the same thing.

One time that it happened I was able to quickly pull the top off and unscrew the pipe. Once it stopped vaping I put it back in and it worked again for a couple days until it happened again.

I brought it to the shop where I bought it and they changed the coil and declared it 'fixed' then sold me 3 extra coils for $7. That was last week and I've gone through two of them already.

Anyone have a similar experience or should I ask for a total replacement?

    Thanks!

Sounds like it is not shutting off and burning out the coil. When I was first rebuilding the coils, had one that was not right, did the same thing, rebuilt it again and it worked fine, but never had one of mine auto fire, sounds like a defective device. As it does not do it all the time, don't know how you can prove it is defective. Sorry I can't help more.

Hi! I got one b/c the pocket charger concept is awesome, and I like how small the mini is; however, I get ZERO flavor from it. I contacted the company I bought it from (VapeWild), and they kind of put the problem on me, saying the iCare is for beginners,so it's a low-flavor, low-vapor vape. This certainly was not in the product description when I bought it, and I don't see why even a beginner would want low flavor.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had no flavor on their iCare mini? The VaporTrail review I watched showed a huge vapor cloud and he said the flavor was great. I can taste my juices in my Protanks just fine, btw.

I vape low flavor juice anyway, so with the iCare I got no flavor, so I just increased the flavor % (I DIY) and it helped, but still not the greatest for flavor. You will never (IMHO) get the flavor of a Protank with the iCare. It is what it is. :(
