I'm certainly in the group of vaper-gamers, but I've boycotted MW2. No mods or dedicated servers? blah. I'll stick with COD4 for now.

I like the multiplayer better on COD4 anyway... maps are too big for the noobs to camp out in the new one.
Noobs camping will always be a problem in first person shooters.
mods are the way to go. Try OW, if you haven't.

Thanks.. Its made out of some Lubic kits.. which was a kit of aluminum bars that you could make custom pc cases or anything out of.. i used 3 kits to build it. You cant buy that stuff anymore though. I actually bought up another 5 kits or more and took the case down.. i planed on building an even bigger case with all the lubic kits hehe. Was gona go all out and use and cobo of water/air and thermo cooling. Never happend after my daughter was born and i ended up selling off all the kits.
Those were the good old days hehe.

Yeah it would be nice if Microsoft and Playstation could get with the program and allow us to connect our USB mice to there systems. Then i'd never feel the need to upgrade my computer and would just switch to the console for my online multiplayer gaming.
I have Wii, 360, and PS3 wii is just for my better half.... Anyway both PS3 and 360 are very good gaming systems.

If you've never played Call Of Duty 4 online then you'll probably be wowed by MW2, but for people like me who came from it, I don't think it's anything special, I still prefer COD4 online multiplayer. As a standalone game, MW2 is definitely impressive though.
I like MW2 for the leveling system (why I cant play RPGs) but I keep coming back to Counterstrike Source........best mod ever.
I haven't been a die hard PC FPS player since Quake II; nothing feels the same. Of course it all started with Marathon (the original Halo - anyone remember that?)

I CAN'T STAND CONSOLE FPS GAMES. I get sick cause i can't ever get the right reaction from the controllers... stick me on a keyboard and mouse i'm good... i do have an xbox that i got that basically collects dust (Castles crashers kicks ... though lol)...
Been playing CS since 1.4 and still play CSS.
Been wanted to try crisis only to o0ogle at graphics... none of the games i've really tried on this rig have pushed it. Aion, WoW, CSS (i actually LIMIT my fps but it will pull off some ridiculous numbers at times), and just some demos to see what physics was all about... i can't wait for MORE games to be more interactive... like an MMORPG that has way more interaction would be interesting...
One thing i notice about gaming that a lot of people from the outside dont see is the real reason for playing games is meeting OTHER people, Socializing, etc... i've made friends in counterstrike that i've known for at least 8 years now (wow i just thought about ....! 1 closer to 30, 28 now....)

I remember my first VooDoo II card, and how 60 fps made me feel seasick.
I did enjoy PC gaming more because of the mouse + keyboard, but with MW2 I don't have to worry about the hardware managing the graphics and the bandwidth.

All of You Have Some Really Nice PC's / Machines, and It is Good to see all of You Play COD MW2 in one form or another,, My Skillz lay with the Keyboard and Mouse, I cant run a controller to save my life
i guess growing up with the first nintindo and then moving up through the ladder I guess I am to much into reg. gaming systems.... but some of the games Ive seen for the PC are out of this world.... Since the gaming companies are not willing to write for the PS3 to create an extreme graphic designer games I guess I may have to move towards PC gaming. Im a huge RPG gamer and no one is producing good ones but 2010 may be a better year for RPG's but who know.
