All You DIY Unflavored Nic Vapers

Edit: this should probably have gone to the juice forum... I wanted to hear from the home team on this one

Why do so many people vape unflavored nic juice? Do they not like juice vendors? Is it the price? Or what? Also I see a lot of people use nic juice and the add like 10% whatever flavor. I'm wondering why? I'm getting tired of getting juice and not liking it! Or inconsistencies from vendors, especially!

I vape unfavored because anything else I try I can't vape for more than few minutes.

I gave it a try after getting the RM2 and all of my flavored juices starting tasting like perfumed snow-cone syrup. I liked it, so I kept vaping it. I do drip a few drops of flavored juice occasionally to break up the monotony.

Another huge advantage is how clean my wick stays.

Unflavored has a lite tobacco taste to me. I like it

I do unflavored sometimes, but mostly I am very light with my flavor percentage. The RM2 really brings out flavor for me, I noticed it was overkill with my juice having around 8% flavor. I have also been known to fill a grand bottle and put one single drop of flavor in there.

I've yet to find a flavor I can vape all day. They all seem to go south on me at some point during the day. Some turn on me sooner than others. Unflavored, on the other hand, is always the same. I don't get tired of it....

tried it after seeing sXd's posts. better than most of the junk i've bought. the only thing i don't get tired of.

Im with bushmaster ! LOL I DIY though for myself and friends and family so Im always trying new flavors or tweak things so I have to try them.I have thought cut my nic level and flavor % since I started making my own coils.

The biggest problem I have with flavored liquids is that they tend to taste different to me at different times, unflavored 50/50 is always the same lightly sweet, delicious vape, time and time again.

I actually find that unflavored liquid even tends to enhance the taste of things I am eating or drinking, or they some how work together in some way or another.

With flavored liquids, even little changes in things like the wetness of the coil make huge differences in the flavor, usually with bad results. With unflavored, when my coil is getting ready for a squonk, the taste changes a little, gets a little more "peppery" tasting, but its actually kind of a pleasant taste, and is a good reminder to squonk without being gross.

Flavored juices tend to irritate my throat over time it seems, unflavored feels smooth and refreshing.

Coils / wicks last for a long long long time with unflavored


Besides all that though, I just like the idea of limiting the amount of weird ... chemicals that I am heating up and inhaling, so unflavored is pretty much the epitome of that.


I do occasionally take a vape of a flavored juice, sometimes I will even dilute it 5 to 1 with unflavored to extend it or make it more palatable for me, but lately I am enjoying unflavored more then anything else.

Based SxD posts I tried and like it. My ADV is Ikenvape RY4 gold, really don't like most other things I try for more than a few minutes. I really do like unflavored and it's always in one of Reos. Oh and I was luckily enough to get some raw Appoo, Rotten Peach and Nemp bases that I really like but use them sparingly to stretch it out until the good Monkey returns to his lab.

It's cheap, wicks last a LONG time, it's easy, I never get tired of it, it's "flavor" seems to go with anything I eat or drink.

Although I started vaping on flavored juices, now that I've used unflavored, the flavored stuff seems like flavored cigarettes, something I never could get into. Just my 50 cents

I order from both wizard labs and my freedom smokes. I prefer a mix of 70% VG or higher. The both used to allow you to customize the blend but now I'm not sure. No prob though, just order in 100% VG and add PG that you also buy from them if you feel the need.


I found that PG higher than 30% made it a completely different (lame) vape. Now I roll 90% VG 12 Mg that started as 24 mg 80% VG
