I'm in a unique situation and not sure how to proceed or what my options are... I'm on a very strict diet/nutrition plan (HCG). Currently, the phase I'm on does not allow sugar or starches and immediately reveals any sensitivities (by adding lbs to the scale). So I started gaining weight and couldnt figure out why as the foods I'm ingesting are 'safe' for this part of my diet. Stopped vaping (used analogs) for 48hrs and the weight came down. I assumed it was a PG allergy, as all my (dekang) juices are mid-low nicotine PG. Past vaping has always given me moderate gas, bloating, tummy cramps, looser bm's etc but nothing I couldn't tolerate. So after doing some forum research, I vaped pure VG as suggested in previous threads. It was much worse than PG, as it gave me major bloating, tummy cramps and bad gas. And of course the scale went up. Next day I tried much less VG and my stomach issues were a tad milder and the scale stayed the same. So I am hoping that means I can tolerate small doses of VG - only time will tell.

I'm an exsmoker, but must vape or I'll go back to analogs - not! So now, I need to find something to vape that I'm not sensitive to. I have a feeling I could probably get away with mixing a bit of VG with something else, but am unsure about a pure VG juice. I may be able to return to vaping PG &/or VG once I'm done with this phase (6 wks or so), but for now it's best I find an alternative.

Ques:
1. What can I vape instead of VG or PG? What vendor would you reccomend I use? Do they sell samples? (would be great if they sold 510 attys also)
2. Is there anything I can add to my current pure VG to dilute it, so I can vape until new juices arrive?

Note: I've been vaping (pg) since December. My nicotine ranges between 8mg - 18mg. I drink approx 9 glasses/1.5ltr of water a day. I'm not a heavy vaper - maybe .5ml daily.

Thanks in advance for all your help :)

ummm.... you could try PEG400 its a form of glycol but doesnt have the sweet tones of PG/VG
these guys have it Genuine DEKANG E-liquid E-liquid Web Shop CN E-liquid DEKANG but just pay the standard postage as some people have reported having dramas with getting quotes. Entering into a dialogue is not reccomended as it would seem that is where most problems seem to have started.

I havent had any trouble with them but i am very patient and was aware it could take 4-6 weeks to reach me and therefore felt no need to chase them or ask questions. I was very happy when it arrived 2.5 weeks after ordering. The lids are glued closed with hotmelt glue and take a little patients to remove but it does prevent accidental leakage and I am all for safety. Of couse if you are not the patient type I am sure there will be others who stock it too.

VG is typically diluted/thinned with distilled water

There's just one thing I must say and all I can think is you probably made some mistake while writing how much you vaped daily: 5 ml, you said! Well, I don't know, but I used to smoke about a pack and a half a day (Lights, yeah, I know that name was banned) and, even though I'm not really counting, I make my own juices (generally) at 8 mg nicotine and I don't think I vape more than 1 ml per day.
Regarding your allergies, yes, VG may give you a bit of gas (I know from myself, but I vape almost 100% VG - that is, you can never vape 100% VG while you may vape 100% PG - and, anyway, I always had some gases and occasional problems, so it's not totally new). What was said about dilluting VG is correct: it's just too thick and probably not that good to vape without dilluting, so I always dillute in about 20% distilled water. PG allergies are more related to rashes or sore throat, for example. I know, there are liquids that make me sick in a flash - I found out it was when the Chinese abused on vanillin. I had to find that out for myself. So, now I simply avoid vanillin, which is to say that if I'm to buy flavours or liquids I previously ask if there's a lot of vanillin in it or even any vanillin at all, since not every juice contains vanillin (bearable only if not overabused). Do you think it could be possible that maybe you don't get along well with some ingredient (s) and not necessarily PG or VG?
