Any one can be allergic to anything I forget the genetic defect that makes you allergic to sunlight?

IDK if it's coconut something else or what. Your best bet might be an allergist if you are really certain and there ARE other options, PEG400 is not as viscous as VG but it's vapable with a bit of PG nic and flavors I am fairly certain.

Please do your own research on PEG400. I did and was satisfied, but I'm not RECOMMENDING it to anyone unless they research it themselves.

Anyone with coconut allergies on the forum perhaps?
I noticed I have reactions to VG. I know it's a one in a million ,but I just thought I'd ask.

I have a mild reaction to coconut, vs a potentially (if untreated) fatal one to another allergen. Other allergies in between that spectrum.

I've been vaping over seven years after many decades of smoking and being unable to quit--you have no idea how badly I wanted to or how many different things I tried until I found vaping and made it work--and it was less than a year when I was talked (bullied  ) into DIY by others here. (DIY is the only way to go under the current threats to vaping, or if you want to to save a ton of money. )

Got my PG from Tractor Supply and the VG from Walmart. Everything went well until many months later when I started having trouble breathing when I vaped. Long story short, after much juggling of ingredients and research I figured out it had to be the VG suddenly (seasonably?) derived from coconut and switched to some other brand. Problem went away. Problem came back eventually with that one and switched to a more reliable third source.

Bottom line is I have a multiple year source or reliable VG but the company has changed hands and their labeling is not as clear as it used to be. Please look into the Essential Oils recommendation given to you by @AngeNZ. Company has a very good reputation around here. From other companies make sure they list where their ingredients come from.

So yep, in short, you are NOT nuts. Ain't it fun feeling like it though?

Years ago I had some trouble when vaping some commercial eliquid seemed to cause congestion and runny nose. I decided to test piece by piece.
I got out a RDA and vaped straight PG, no problem. Then I tried straight VG, problem. I just limit VG to no more than 25% now and I'm fine. I never really considered that the source of the VG could make a difference. Interesting idea, but I've found my happy vaping place, so I'm not motivated to investigate further.

I had this issue since I started vaping. Then changed brands, but it got worse this year.
I will check out the links , because I believe the more info the better the understanding.
Yes it is the VG, I have been vaping since end 2017 ,commercial and DIY. I have also vaped straight PG and VG, PG and VG suspended Nic etc. and lately water diluted juices .I just needed more info and was wondering who else has this issue.
*Thanks for the replies and the links.*
