So this is going to sound far out there. My fiancé has minor allergies to nuts and that is all that we know of. Lately her allergies have been kicking up with itchiness and sometimes small hives ( No anaphylaxes ). Since nothing has changed, at least nothing we can think of, we are starting to think it is from second hand vape (maybe slight pg reaction). So, to see if this is the problem I agreed not to vape in the house and if her reaction subside we know the culprit and the remedied. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced something close to this?????

Considering what time of the year it is the issue is more likely caused by hayfever and/or change of the seasons. I highly doubt it is a PG intolerance. The only way I could see vaping being the cause is if you are vaping a flavouring that contains actual nut proteins/extract. It's not impossible; I have an allergy to wheat and once in a while I do run across a flavouring that triggers that allergy, but not often. When it does the reaction is still very minor and doesn't cause the longer lasting effects felt with direct contact or secondary contact/cross contamination. If someone else is vaping it I don't notice any problems either.
