Hi All:

Newbie here and have been vaping for the last 6 weeks. Picked up a Ego-T kit from Liberty Flights and some PG juice at 14 mg of nicotine and was happy that I was able to quit the analogs. Last week, I decided to see if I would be comfortable vaping 0 mg and ordered some. Next thing I know, my lips were swollen from vaping the 0 mg which I thought was odd since it was the same juice that I ordered from the same vendor. I switched back to the 14 mg and that was fine. Would this allergic reaction stems from the lack of nicotine or what could be the possible reason? I tried cutting the 0 mg with the 14 mg and that didn't work either. Should I speak with the vendor on this? I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks.

That's bizarre. Are you using hot cartomizers or something? They can get hot on the lips if you don't use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece to keep your lips cool.

The juice with the nic should have been PG, flavoring, and nic in PG.

If you are using cartridges (plastic) maybe something was on them from production?

I think try a different juice brand and contact LF.

PG allergies are very rare which is why it is a common ingredient in many pharm products. Plus if it;s the same flavor from the same vendor just minus the nicotine that would not make sense. I would think it;s either a bad batch of juice or possible there is an extra ingredient to increase the throat his since it doesn't have any nic.

...some vendors...usually by request...add capsaicin to 0mg nic to add throat hit...capsaicin is pepper juice and could cause problems for some since it is the active ingredient in pepper spray...I certainly don't know but I would bet against it being the PG...especially if you have used it before...contacting the vendor would be a good idea..........

WOW that actually could be it. I never knew they did that in 0mg juice. Learn something new everyday!

Thanks for confirming my theory madjack and capsaicin would definitely explain the swollen lips.
