I have had the most bizarre week. I went to the doctor on Tuesday due to extreme thirst and frequent urination (the extremeness of it has been going on for about a month). He told me I could be in serious danger with all the water I've been drinking. He told me to limit myself to 2 liters and he ordered blood work. I went home and didn't drink much and the next day I went to work and only drank 8 oz on the way. When I got to work, I became lethargic and my legs were shaky and weak. I called the doctor's office and they told me to go to the ER. To make a long story short, all my blood work came back fine and the doctor gave me the impression he thought I was lying to him. Off and on, during the time I was limiting my water, I started running a slight fever, became extremely lethargic, weak and shaky, spacy and out of it, confused and disoriented (this was off and on for 2 days). When I started drinking my normal amount of water again, all these symptoms went away, although I have also lost my appetite.

I have also been waking up at night with the roof of my mouth itching. This started happening when I started vaping (10 months ago) and has gotten much worse the last few days. I know this sounds stupid, but I kept forgetting about it because it doesn't happen during the day and I never mentioned it to the doctor.

I'm now wondering if I'm allergic to pg or something else in the juice. I'm thinking all the water I've been drinking has been flushing the allergens (or whatever's fighting them) out of my system which is why when I stopped drinking so much I felt so ill.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Another possibility is I am on a medication and the manufacturer was switched recently so it could be due to that. But, the roof of my mouth itching definitely started with the vaping. And I've also recently been vaping 24 mg off and on, whereas, I used to only vape 12 mg.

Thanks for any insight!

My daddy used to say "everything in moderation". In fact he said it so often, we kids thought he should moderate his saying "everything in moderation".
Now my philosophy has always been "if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing". But needless to say, that hasn't always served me well. LOL
Christy-
The thirsty & urinating often is a common symptom of diabetes. I assume that has been ruled out by your blood test.
My idea if this were me & I ain't a doc btw:
I would dial back on my nic to 12-18 mg & definately do 100% vg. And I would make sure my electrolytes weren't being washed out by water. Have some potato chips & a Gatorade or sweet tea. It's summertime & it's hot weather.
Hey good luck friend. Don't want you getting sick now.

Funny, my daddy used to say if it feels good, do it! (No joke). He also drank a lot of beer and smoked a lot of pot at the time, lol.

Diabetes has been ruled out. The funny thing is my sodium level was 138 which is normal (my potassium was normal too), that's why he didn't believe I was drinking as much water as I said I was (I think).

Yeah, I'm going to try switching to 100% VG. Know any vendors that sell bubblegum flavor 100% VG?
