Allow me to introduce myself

I have been smkoing for over half my life. My biggest problem with quitting is that I enjoy smoking, I think it is more the act of it and that for 5 minutes I get to chill and just reflect on things. Smoking has provided me with a break when ever I want for so long that I can't give it up.

My children are getting older and are constantly one me to stop the discusting habit, and it is discusting. It makes my clothes stink, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I am not getting any younger, and need to do this not only for my kids but for myself as well.

Last January (2010) I bought 2 of the kits at the mall. $400 later I was vapping and it was ok, but not what I had expected. I had gotten a kit for myself and my husband (who is still mad) and he wouldn't even try it. It lasted for about 3 weeks and then went in a box in the closet until yesterday. I have decided that now it is time to do this thing. In all fairness, had the kit from the mall worked it would have paid for itself in 3 months or less.

I found your forum last year after I got my kits at the mall, but never ordered a new unit. Yesterday I did. I wanted to the GP eCo, but they only had pink and I am not a pink kinda girl. So I went with the Joye 510 from cignot. I am hoping that this new unit will be much better than the piece of junk that I currently own and get me off the analogs for good. Obviously if I dropped $400 on the first failure, money is not a huge issue, but after being being burned on my first purchase I decided to go cheap at first and upgrade if I liked it.

I bought liquid from Totaly Wicked and Rocky mountain last year and am really liking the blackberry... yumm! I can't wait to get my 510 and try them in there! It has to be better than what I getting now.

Excited to be here and here's to the future... hopefully ananlog free!!!!

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on trying again. Sorry about your first experience but you are not alone. Many of us had to go through the mall-type e-cigs before finding a better (cheaper) option. Don't give up. The 510's are a great little starter pv. If you find you are frustrated, just come back and we will help you anyway we can.

Allow myself to introduce, myself???
I hated smoking, I hate the smell, the feeling I get afterward, and also the smell that lingers around after I had just smoked in the winter air. But with the Ecig…I still get that (hand-to-mouth) action, and the TH is much smoother than an analog. For me the cost is not all that noticeable, I mean, please don’t take offence, but I didn’t pay nearly as much for mine as you did for your PV, mine was $100 that included one PV battery mod with lifetime warranty in-store trade-in($60) an AC charger ($40) and two cartridges. I figured out how to make a cartomizer last for up to a week so I am seeing the savings, but I just love hitting the vapor. I feel good, I have been vaping for over a year and I don’t have the phlegm that I hear people talking about. And now I just got an Epipe for $170 that is a game-changer!!! The battery last for like ever and I got another battery with the kit so I can take it camping or out to sea and have to worry about a dead battery. While I was in Haiti during the earthquake rescue operations I was vaping and my battery would go dead at about 5pm every day, and I would have to wait till next day before I could fully charge it. So I am happier with all my vaping kits, I will never go back to analogs ever again. Hey srw78, if you want to know where I got my stuff just pm me and I will share the info with you. Since you are close up there in MD. I used to live in SOMD Pax River. Later

I am so glad you have decided to give it another go. I hope you have a better experience this time around. My husband and I started vaping 16 days ago and have not smoked an analog since......It is wonderful!!! If this is something you really want to do, these e cigs will surely help you out!! Good Luck and let us know how it goes for you.
