Just thought I would like to introduce myself and explain where I am at on my vaping journey, still smoking some analogues and am determined to quit but just haven't gotten my equipment and juice right - yet.
My names Daniel, based in Melbourne, Australia. I've been lurking on different ecig forums for over a year now during my vaping journey.
Began in 2009 when I bought a cheap nasty 510 style kit from China with awful prefilled carts. Kinda put me off ecigs as I thought they were just a gimmick until 2010 when I tried to get onboard again. I have asthma so analogues make life hell, constantly needing Ventolin etc.
Anyhow, I ended up buying an eGo-T with some nice flavours but made the mistake of getting 36mg strength nicotine. Absolutely kills my throat and is very harsh at that level, even with all VG.
I found the throat hit more akin to a chemical punch but without the fullness of real smoke. A cigerette has a nice full throat hit which doesn't hurt. So once again I was dissapointed but I had one 18mg flavour which was much more tolerable.
Still wasn't off the analogues, as I found vaping still wasn't satisfying and was 'missing something' which I now know to be WTA. Ended up buying a GoGo which I never liked, the flavour was definetely there but it tasted strange, sometimes metallic, sometimes artificial. I think it's just a case of me not liking the taste of cartos.
So that leads me to where I am at now. I have a Variable Riva 900Mah battery and a 2.5 ohm I06 atomizer. I really like this atomizer, the throat hit is smooth and I am noticing less strange tastes / unpleasant hits. But I am still far from satisfied.
Firstly I find dripping to be a pain in the rear. The I06 doesn't leak much, but it still happens sometimes and I hate it. Sticky fingers, having to wipe it, getting juice on the battery etc. I have a drip shield on the way but that will only be short term, I have worked out that I need a tank, feed system or something similar.
I had been looking at the Provari Mini and was about to preorder one until just a few days ago when I think I found my perfect device, a GG Stealth + UFS v2 with an I06 atomizer in it. I am absolutely in love with the pictures of it and videos. Convenient 5ml liquid storage, beautiful looks and small size for when I am out and about. I don't mind changing 18350 batteries once every now and then when I am out.
Then I found out they have been discontinued and no one has them in stock. Shattered. I know that the Odysseus has replaced it (but is also not in stock) but I just don't like it in terms of looks. I understand that it is the overall better device especially with the expansion kit, but in big mode it is too big, and in short mode it doesn't look as good as the UFS.
So right now I am still smoking a few analogues, wanting a GG Stealth + UFS. I have also ordered some WTA juice from Ethan (Aroma E Juice doesn't do international), hoping it gets here soon. I feel like this device and WTA juice will finally give me the full satisfaction I need.
Right now I am vaping some fairly unpleasant DIY juice which is 70/30 pg vg, Lime Zinger by DV but with a bunch of passion flower mixed in. The taste is pretty bad, but the passion flower definetely provides some satisfaction. Slight relaxed filling, almost a bit sedating, but kills the urge to smoke. When I am out and a bout though I still end up smoking.

Thanks for listening and if anyone has some advice I would love to hear it. Also curious if anyone knows of some flavour concentrates (I prefer to DIY) which taste close to a cigarette I would love to know. I understand that smokes don't taste the best, but it would be great for when I am craving a cigarette. I am about to order some Red Box Classic and Red Box New from EC Blends so I will see how that goes
