I received my Joye 510 two weeks ago. Since that time, I have tried many flavours (all PG). I have some with 11mg nicotine which gets me very lightheaded and most others without nicotine. To me, the tobacco ones have almost no taste and just seems like air, and all the flavours taste like perfume.
I know tastebuds change and yes, I am still using analogues. I have cut down from a pack a day to half a pack because I am trying to vape. I just cannot seem to get the satisfaction on taste. Can anyone suggest something or a flavour? I sooooooooo badly want to post here in this forum that I have quit the analogues!

You may want to try different vendors for juice until you find one that you really like. Taste buds can get all messed up and what has little taste or tastes bad now, may be great after a couple of weeks.

Check out the eliquid review forum here for reviews. I like ry4, but that is not a very robust tobacco flavor. It's rather mild.

Stick with it, the less you smoke analogs, the more
taste you get from vaping. UNTIL such time try some
strong flavors for your juice.

Find a nic level that's right for you and try, cinnamon,
licorice, coffee, in double flavor shots if you can.
Zero nic is like trying to go cold turkey, never worked for me either.

Once your taste buds recover from analogs, (you quit, yippie!!)
the more mellow flavors are more percipitable and enjoyable.

Hang in there! It took me almost a whole month before I finally found my tastebuds! I like the tobacco flavor as a base but I need other flavors with it because, well, tobacco doesn't taste that great anymore. Are you DIY or are you buying pre-filled carts? After about 2 wks I started DIY and it is ten times better than the pre-filled, IMO. I've gotten all my juice either at V4L or GV and I've not had any that are perfume smelling. That would totally turn me off. GV has a great flavor called maiden coffee. it is a tobacco, coffee, cream mix that is sooooo good, if you like coffee.
Good Luck!!

Hi afrsss, you have a good point and what everything everyone here has told you is absolutely correct.

When you mentioned "perfume" I think I knew immediately who you got your juice from. I would suggest another vendor and FSUSA is a very good one, but there are others too.

But here's what I wanted to tell you. Your going to find that with any company who makes their juice fresh for each customer, such as FSUSA and some of the other good ones, you may find you need to give their juice a week or several weeks to age or steep before its really going to taste good to you.

Even the juice you have now, you might take the cap and dripper tip off the bottle and leave it to open air for about 24 hours. Air helps to speed up the aging process a bit. Then give it a shake every once in a while and check it every week or so until you can really decide if you like it or not.

FSUSA has a real good Forum (Freedom Smoke USA) here on ECF and you can learn more about this as well as here on the New Members Forum and in the Sticky's at the top of the New Members Page.

Good luck and keep cutting down on the cigarettes!

I had the same problem -- couldn't taste anything unless it was a strong tobacco flavor or cinnamon. Someone here told me to try Gourmet Vapor as you can order their e-liquid with double or triple flavor. I tried several in the triple flavor -- aha, finally I could taste it! They are running a 50% off sale November 4-7 - so it's still good today. Coupon code is box50.

I also ordered a bigger battery. The other batteries I have are kr808d-1. I liked these batteries and still like them, but the bigger battery did help with the taste factor. I got a Hello016 and an adapter so I didn't have to buy all new atomizers and carts.

I was a 2-2.5 PAD smoker. With the 808 I was able to get down to 5-10 cigarettes a day. I could not seem to let go of them completely. Personally, I still considered this a huge success and was not really concerned about completely quitting. But with the stronger tasting liquid and the bigger battery, I was able to quit cigarettes completely 10 days ago. I still have one cigarette in the last pack just sitting there. When I got to that last one, something just told me that I no longer needed cigarettes.

I do still get the urge for a cigarette but it is only about 10% of the urge I had before, so I think I can make completely quitting work. If I decide that I MUST have that last cigarette or MUST go back to 5-10 cigarettes a day, I will not consider myself a failure.

You may be experiencing dry mouth (whether you realize it or not) and need to get your saliva production up. If you can't stand drinking tons of water, check this out -----> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/133359-dry-mouth-use-biotene.html

This REALLY helped me. My saliva production is normal after using this for about 1 week. I can taste everything!

Just remember, PG gives more throat hit (TH) and VG gives you more flavor/vapor.

Hope this helps a little.

The fewer cigs you smoke, the faster your taste buds will "grow back" and the better things will taste. Vaporbomb has some really good, clean flavors...especially their fruit flavors. No perfumie taste or smell AT ALL. Just a suggestion. Also, I really, really like Vaporrenu juices. They are very, very inexpensive, and very clean tasting. They have a double and triple flavor option, too. I really like all of their juices.
