I have more on the way, but the auto I have for my 510 seems like a dud, even charging all night long only lasts about an hour. The manual is a little better, after charging all night it lasted from 7:00 am till about noon.

Sort of ticked that the only reason I went back to cigs is because of the battery....this is what concerns me about these things. Love it so far, but afraid I have to carry around tons of equipment just so I don't get caught in the cold. Like right now.

Do they have a PCC for it? On my KR808, the PCC with second battery and a few spare cartos is smaller than a pack of cigs, lasts the day.

You have many options to help with that battery situation.

These are in the order of how long they will last...
1) Get some mega batteries
2) Get a PCC
3) Get a mod

My "drill" with 510 batteries has been to own about a half dozen. I don't use a PCC but I do have a single car charger (the stock wall charger powered by the 12V lighter socket into the charger's mini-plug connection) that constantly has a battery in it, and I rarely run a battery all the way down before rotating it with the fresh one in the charger. At home, I keep all the rest of my batteries in a multi-charger.

I got that "rhythm" pretty well worked out just about the time I got my Ego batteries which makes things a lot easier.

You should look into the Ego. It fits a 510 atty and the battery lasts about half a day for me and I'm a heavy vaper. Once I switched to the ego from my regular 510, all of my battery issues went away. Tasty Vapor sells kits for $49 and batteries for $15 if you are interested.

i use a hello from litecig and the battery will last me 2 days, if you are not concerned about esthetics try one...slightly cheaper than an ego and higher mah....1300.....much bang for your buck.

Of course I seem to be on a spending spree to lots more stuff to get yet.

Are the EGO and Hello both fully compatible with manual 510's without any adapters or other things to make them compatible? And does it matter which site you order from (meaning are some EGO's knockoffs and should be avoided?) Also, what other things are needed if purchasing an EGO or Hello for a 510 manual? Chargers? PT? USB? or does the standard manual 510 kit generally come with everything needed to charge an EGO/Hello?

I rotated 5 batteries to keep my 510 unit rolling along with no added real-cigs. Then I discovered Vapor4Life and their XL batteries. It's a whole different model of e-cig, but for me it's much simpler and the battery life is much greater making it worth the additional investment.

Keep trying, I have been vaping for about a year off and on. I now have 17 days without cig. I use a screwdriver 905 with 14500 batt. lasts all day.

I haven't had a battery go out, but I am caught in between orders of carts. Instead of analogs I decided to puff on a couple of cigars instead. Hope my carts arrive tomorrow...hang in there!

Second, do I charge it up first then put a battery in?

Or do I charge a battery in it while it is charing via. usb?

When you said that the batteries will not fit did you mean that you could screw them in to charge but they would not lay flat so you can close the case?

If you are close to your pc or in your car try a USB passthrough.
I like mine.....no battery woes !

Yep, that is it exactly. No matter how I try to screw in the battery the button never faces up, it's either down or to the side so it won't fit into the groove.

Guess it would work if I leave the case open....meh.
