Hello,

I'm of course new to this I purchase two 8084s and fulling charged the batteries. It seems that I go a pretty good hit from the first hit, but then I couldn't get anything from it.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong but the more and more I try it seems as though I get nothing out of it?
If I don't touch it for about 30mins and pic it up again I get about 1 to 2 hits and then nothing again. I'm getting really frustrated with the whole thing because the carts are full I can see the juice is still there.
They are all prefilled cartridges. All the reviews I have seen say that the 8084 is a pretty good e-cig.
I have bought some more ejuice with VG to see if that will make the hit more constant.
When I watch the videos the 8084 the guy has is producing a lot more then even my best hit has ever gotten, and he is able to do it repeatedly even though I only get one hit with a third of the vapor produced by the guy in the video.

I've tried short puffs, long slow ones every combination with no better results. Is there anyone else that is having these problems?

Thanks,
Armyb77

I bought it from GoodProphets

I don't have an answer for this, as i seem to be having the same situation. I got some adapters for my 510 bats so I could try the cartos. Ordered a few different ones and while the flavor seemed to be better the vapor and TH were pretty much sub par. Just a thought but maybe a bad batch? IDK just a thought

Compared to the 510 I would agree, but the flavor is much better with the 808. I also found when using the 510 batt adapter it seems to work better if I screw it on to the carto first and then screw that into the battery.

Rob has been more then helpful with everything on the phone. I am going to wait until I get my VG ejuice in before determining if the 8084s are indeed faulty. If they are Rob said he would take care of me. I hope this works out because I have never been part of a community that is this helpful and responsive to newbies:rolleyes:

Thanks for all the great comments. If anyone has any suggestions to try that would be great, unfortunately I don't have a multimeter to just test the thing myself.

Thanks,

Rob,

I was wondering do you think I should just give up on the 8084 and get the 808 instead? I guess it is only 94mm so it is a little smaller than a traditional 100 cig. Also is there an increased cost associated with the catomizers as because they are carts and atomizer combos? or do the catomizers last just as long as the atomizers just a little different when it comes to refilling procedures?

Thanks,

Yes the refilling process is different, but try two or three times and you have mastered it.
The cartomizers last about 15 or more refills.
Everything about PV's and length of time for anything, all depends on individual usage.

but if you compare cost between cartos and atomizers,,,,, They are about even.
In general terms.

Rob

EDIT: Theonly time I recommend the 8084 is when the user smokes a couple of analogs a day....OR if they already have a full size PV, and they want a supermini for a second or third pv

Army,

I started out with an 8084 myself. i know you are waiting on juice to arrive so give dripping a try once it arrives. This helped SO MUCH when I had mine. I found that the carts were nice when I couldn't tear my attention away to drip (ie while driving) but aside from that dripping produced ALOT more vapor. Also I had a tendency to cover one of the 2 side air holes while taking a toke. While this made the draw a little harder, it also made the vapor more dense (which made it feel more "smoke" like in the throat and lungs).

My first 8084 I ordered from good prophets and it vaped very well. the battery life wasnt great but the battery is small. I usually dripped or dipped and the flavor was tremendous compared to the flavor on a 510 just thought I would put my $.20 worth:)
