The last few days my smoke free body just let go and I have been very tired...slept all day yesterday and all night.... I used to be a smoker starting in the evenings and did not smoke much during the day. I heard that sleep patterns usually are a sign of nicotine withdrawal and not just a symtom of quitting smoking....

i don't feel depressed...just really really tired for a few days...anyone else go through this? thanks.....

Hey Cinderoo, Nicotine withdrawl actually occurs with in days of stopping intake. If this is occurring 3 weeks after cessation it is probably unrelated to withdrawl. Have you noticed any other symptoms that may aid in narrowing down the probable source? Have you been exceptionally busy prior to this need for sleep? I suspect that something else may be going on and hope that you keep an open mind. Watch for other signs and symptoms while having the mind-set that your body must have needed this rest for whatever reason. I hope you feel better.:D

I don't know about how long it takes for withdrawal but at 1 month I started getting antsy, nervous and such. Played around with the nic level and in the end don't think it had anything to do with quitting.

I hope you are just catching up on some long needed sleep and things will feel better in a day or so. For me that's what happened.

Must have alot to do with metabolism. My 7th day I'm just getting past the antsy feeling. i was also feeling pretty tired in the first few days, but now i can't remember when I felt this good. Like i'm 10 years younger.
