Alright so if you've been vaping for any length of time chances are good that you've heard of Gooey Butter Cake. A fairly simple recipe consisting of eggs, yellow cake, butter and powdered sugar but some e-liquid companies have taken this flavor to the next level and it's become one of their best sellers. Companies like Vapealicious and KissBassVapors have phenomenal butter cake flavors that can become any dessert lovers ADV at first taste.
Now these recipes are kept under lock and key, closely guarded by either owners of the companies themselves or dedicated mixologists with a dash of non disclosure agreements lol In any case, I'm setting out to create a delicious Gooey Butter Cake recipe that either matches or beats current vendors profiles and for that I'll need help. Upon extensive Google searching and recipe forum scouring I've come to the conclusion that this may be one of the rare flavors that no one has even come close to cracking. Achieving that strong creamy buttery flavor without diacetyl may seem impossible but these companies have done it and so can we. I'm going to be vigilant in keeping this thread alive as well as ordering any new flavors that come to light in the coming month of R&D. If you have any insight when it comes to these flavors be it flavoring companies specific flavor to use, percentages,or recipes in general are all welcome and I appreciate any and all help in advance
I'll be reserving the next post for updating recipe information and other bits of information that are regarded important when approaching this flavor profile.
