OK, no more cute and cuddly! Give us recipes for your favorite mixed drinks... or just the one you whipped up tonight!

On tonight's menu... "A Walk on the Moon."

2 oz blackberry schnapps (I'm using Black Haus)
1 oz vodka (Using Stoli)
3 oz cola
3 oz milk (I actually used soy milk)

Mix everything into a tall glass. Stir. Serve with a straw.

It is somewhat thick, like a watered down milkshake. And it does separate, so keep a spoon handy. Sounds kinda iffy, but it really does taste good! Note: it sings pretty fast, so make sure you are in for the night before mixing yourself one.

LOL! Sorry, could not pass this up! Amaretto Sour... can't help it love this drink totally sweet and completely loveable! Also, very easy for the inebriated to mix up...

1 1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 - 2 splashes sweet and sour mix

Pour the amaretto liqueur into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add a splash or two of sweet and sour mix, and shake well. Strain or pour into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve.

I need to toss out there that I was drinking my recipe when I posted this thread... you need to drink it a lot faster than I did. The milk apparently curdled, and my stomach was hurting so bad when I went to bed last night. The drink tastes so nice, but I may be skipping it next time. However!

Antifreeze:

1/2 oz. Curacao, blue
1/2 oz. Liqueur, banana
1 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Orange juice
1 whole Cherries/Maraschinos

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over ice cubes in a highball glass. Garnish with a cherry.

That one comes out an unnatural blue color, but this is probably my all time favorite. And not too bad on the buzz department.

Ok, while not technically a mixed drink ~

Has anyone tried the new Crystal light mocktails? I just tried the margarita and I have to say that it actually tastes like one! I think they also have appletini and mojito.

I've had the margarita one. No one else in the house liked it so we don't really buy it, but I loved it!

Not really a recipe, but anything raspberry (crystal light works the best, I've found) and gin. Mix in whatever proportions makes you happy. Drink it with lots of ice and a straw. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE STRAW! (Okay, maybe that last bit is just for me :p )
It might sound too simple, or kinda silly, but I think it tastes amazing :p

Ok, this may sound wrong but I also LUB, LUB, LUB the buttery nipple drink (yes, really sorry that is the name) :)

1 oz Butterscotch schnapps
1/2 oz Irish cream

Pour butterscotch into a glass. Carefully layer or float the irish cream on top, and serve. The Irish cream will sit on top of the butterscotch and look like 2 layers. Mix to drink

Sooooo Yummy!

I'm not sure of the exact ratio but this martini tastes exactly like a chocolate covered orange

white creme de cacao
grand marnier (or other orange liqueur)
vodka

Reminds me of the best martini I've ever had at a place called "The Chocolate Bar". The base is their homemade chocolate fondue and then they add various liquors. My favorite is with grand marnier. They are actually like drinking melted high quality chocolate and liquor - out of this world!!!

Chocolate Cake shot:
made in a double shot size glass

1 lemon wedge,
sugar to rim shot glass
one shot vodka
one shot frangelico
ice
put ice, vodka and frangelico in shaker, shake the chit outta it, pour into sugar rimmed shot glass.

now the fun.
Lick the rim, sip (or just swaller the whole thing ) what's in the glass and suck the lemon. IN THAT ORDER!

my fav. :toast:

Oh ya, apparently you can also use tequila instead of vodka.

Ok I'm not a lady so sorry for jumping in your thread but here's a drink my wife loves. I call it Pink Panties

1 frozen concentrated can of pink lemonade.
Then fill that empty can with whipped cream vodka
A big huge scoop of cool whip
About 1 liter of sprite

Mix it all really good in a pitcher put in freezer for a couple hours.
Taste great you will love it & can't taste any vodka at all.
