modrod, I so wanted to post the Beastie Boys "She's On It", but figured that might be a bit much!

Summer of 95.I was not a big FNM fan at all, kind of despised them with the exception of a few songs (and the Easy CD single and their excellent track on Judgement Night soundtrack). Then 'King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime' came out. Spent that summer running around with my buddy Duffy (who would party with me all night, then wake me up ungodly early the next morning to do crazy tasks), after I built his new sound system in his Tracker, listening to that album. I still do not care too much for early FNM, but from that album on I was just blown away.

I saw these guys for the 3rd or 4th time back a few summers ago. The first time I was amazed at how solid they were for how frigging old they were. They were just as good several years later. The band that really put 'math rock' on the books....
