In my world, for the last few years, summer has consisted of living on the fringes of society. What that means is, as a Bellydancer, I'm tangled up in not only the Bellydance world but a much larger community. The line has blurred into the vaudeville, Burlesque and the Cirque/Carnival scene. Some of my favorite people are firedancers, hoopers, aerialists, a carny preacher, etc. so one of my favorite things right now is to listen to 'The Devil's Carnival' Soundtrack. I SO wish we could've made the trek to see the movie when it toured in April/May. Anyway, because of the fact it's an indie production only one track is findable on Youtube. The one that hubby and I are performing at the after party next week. If you dig the carnival vibe, definitely check out the soundtrack.
