Although, the song done by "Lovin' Spoonful" is very popular, I really "like" the Version of "Summer in the City" by Joe Cocker - Very Hard & Sultry and So "City" . . .
AND - If you are going to talk "SUMMERTIME" there is none other than the version by Great Louis Armstrong & the incomparable Ella Fitzgerald . . .

This is when I was about 8, so you can't hold it against me. And totally bizarre, but I just used the word apropos in relation to another ONJ song from grease just yesterday. Man... really funny timing. I might think of her 3x a decade when I catch Grease on cable, and this is twice in 2 days. rofl
