That picture isn't from our first drive together, it's a more recent trip when we made the same 6+ hour trip (though in reverse) so that he could visit his mother. This time I wisened up and brought a few other cds that he found acceptable but we were both partial to this song:

I used to visit Vegas once a year with a group of guys (yes! A trip with HUMANS!) and spent a lot of time listening to this because music was selected by majority vote, and it was popular:

Mine won't be traditional summer songs in that they do anything more than remind me of my favorite thing in the whole world...summer festival (and performance) season!
This one I listened to a LOT last summer after discovering them in April. I love bands that use traditional instruments in non-traditional ways and yes, these two guys are both Master Cellists. Sorry for the Vevo advert at the beginning.

My husbands hand is in that sea of people (row 2-3) as he went to Tuska in '03 and saw the one hero of mine I'll never get to. Yes, I pout often over it LOL.

My fav. from the above festival I won't post as I don't want people going deaf! If anyone's curious you can look up Children of Bodom - Tuska 03 and the whole set's there. A guy in a cow suit actually played air guitar outside the gates during their set...too bad the vid is no longer find-able LOL
