I would have thought they were the same but I had a V2 charger and figured since the SI cigalike batteries were the same mAh that they would charge on the V2 charger. I was wrong.

Incidentally the Volt spinner charger is rated:

Input DC 5V (no mA rating)
Output DC 4.2V 420mA

So should it charge the Triton battery without issue??? Maybe Cinder Ella or another Halo rep will chime in.

Also how long to the Triton batteries (non VV) typically take to charge. My 900mAh pass-thru X2's take well over 10 hours to fully charge while my 1300mAh spinner charges in less than 6 hours.

In my opinion, the SI charger is the same and would work. (just don't send me the bill if it breaks)

My 650 Tritons charge in 2-3 hours using the Triton charger on a SI .5V wall plug. (Triton 400mAh takes a couple of hours max) My 650 X2s take sometimes 10-12 hours on the .5V volt wall plug.

Glad you mentioned this, because I think the insanely fast charging time of the Triton batteries is really something. That's not to knock Smokeless Image's batteries; I have no experience with those. I've just been really impressed with the Tritons.

So I should not really worry about the input at all??? Especially when the Volt charger does not list an mA ratng for output.
The input is irrelevant. Heck, it's not even a real input, it's more of a rating: Most chargers require a USB port be able to deliver 500 mA, which is *every* USB port out there.

4.2v @ 420 mA is equivalent to 5v @ 350 mA.

With that being said since the output is the same it should be fine. Unless of course there is some sort of weird circuitry built into either of the chargers or the batteries. Like I said I have a charger from V2 and tried to charge an SI Volt of the same mAh and it would not charge.

V2 charger rating:
Input 5V
Output 4.2V 200mA

Volt charger rating:
Input 5V 500mA
Output 5V 150mA

A little higher output but you would figure that it would just charge it faster. Hate to buy a Triton and either fry it or have it not charge. But I would also like the convenience of one charger. And to save a little money as well.

But this would break the golden rule of vaping: Backups for your backups. It doesn't just apply to batteries. What if your charger breaks? Then you have no way of charging any of your devices if you have only one charger for all of them. Just sayin'.

True but say I can use my existing charger on the Triton battery. At least I know I could get either one. So if I bought another charger, be it the X2 spinner charger or the Triton charger, I would have a back-up for all. If either charger only works with their respective battery then I still need to buy two more chargers for back-ups. LOL

Don't mix chargers for cig-a-likes, with chargers for bigger eGo sized batteries; you risk battery damage, in both cases.

Not sure why your two cig-a-like chargers aren't interchangeable, but the voltages could be different (different battery chemistry).

Yes I know that. LOL. My SI charger is for the X2 spinner. That is the one is question if it will work with the Tritons. And that is what I figured on the two cigalike chargers.
