OK when it came to smoking 2 1/2 pks aday was never to much for me. When it comes to eating I always want seconds. Doing anything in life I always have to do more then normal people. So now that I am vaping, is it wrong to be going threw 3 cartomizers adady. Im smoking them dry ! Thats why I think that my D808 is not the right one for me. Also 3 Bateries aday (lol) ! I think the D808 is Great for someone just starting to vape, it got me off the Cancer sticks ! And this Forum is AWSOME ! Where can you start something new and have people you never talk to before Help and Care for you thats Fantastic ! I remember months before I started vaping praying to GOD for something to get me off cigarettes while my chest, throat and mouth was killing me. I have tried everything to stop and then comes along the E CIG a gift from above ! Now for me it seems that I have to spread the word to other people who just gave up ! I cant say THANK YOU enough to everyone on the Forum for the support you all have giving me ! And even though the Goverment wants to say that the e cig is not safe and not proven to help people stop smoking I just want to tell them to take the time and read this Forum. And for me there is no doubt that vaping saved my LIFE !

I would suggest you look at the better battery models, either a good 5 volt PV or a good variable volt (VV) PV. For 5 volts I would either recommend one of Ken's 5 volt box mods: Box Mods or the GLV2 (5 volt version): Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor. There are many good ones, however. As far as how much you vape, what level nicotine are you using? It may be too low. I suggest that new vapers start out at 24mg nic strength and then move up or down depending on their own personnel needs. And no matter how much you vape, it's much better than smoking.

Three cartomizers (I'm assuming that these are standard size and not XL) a day is about average, so no, you aren't vaping too much. I usually vape around 3-4ml per day. On really bad, stressful days I can go through 5ml. If you want something with a longer battery life, then I suggest either a Riva or an eGo. The KR808 is a great kit, but for heavy smokers it just doesn't cut it sometimes unless you have multiple batteries.

Heh!

I upgraded to the Riva510, which you can find here:
http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=55

Battery lasts me a full 12 hours of chain vaping per day. Vapor production is good, vapor temperature is nice and not too hot, and it's super easy to clean and refill.

Oh, and $30 is a pretty awesome price point. YMMV, but this is what I enjoy most. I also own a KR808d-1 and a RN4081.

I will add. I have a eGo (Riva is an off brand eGo) and the Riva from Liberty-Flights is a great deal, and what I recommend to most new vapers. It would undoubtably be better than what you are using, and is a pretty modest investment for an upgrade. BUT, since you said you were a 2 1/2 pad smoker and are sucking cartos dry, I really do think that a box mod would do great for you. For a lower cost set-up, look at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ods-5-volt-illuminated-bottomfeeder-sale.html For a beautiful box look at R&R Manufacturing and http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/149569-monkeyboxx-wooder-man.html and http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rs-forum/122134-phidias-celebration-sale.html
