Am I going to have a problem with TSA

Flying out on Wednesday and I've always carried my ego style vape in my carry on without a problem.

This will be the first flight with my Vamo V5 which admittedly is a lot more intimidating looking. Not to mention it could look like a pipe bomb to the unknowleged.

Anybody else run in to problems at security?

No. TSA is surprisingly knowledgeable about vape gear. I know you said you weren't, but never put batteries in your checked luggage. If TSA wants to look at it, pull it out and explain what it is.

I recently went Baltimore to Cleveland and back with no issues. 2 mech mods with batteries in my carry on and an ego in my pocket. Make sure to put your liquids/tanks in a bag as one of my tanks leaked all over everything inside the bag.

I flew last month with two DNA box mods, a mech, a few RDAs, a Nautilus Mini and a bunch of liquid. No issues whatsoever. Didn't even open my bag.

It all goes in the carry on though, no batteries in checked luggage.

That was BWI to Norfolk, one way.

You shouldn't have any problems. I've never had TSA question any device or topper I've carried through over a dozen different airports in the lower 48, including both Sky Harbor and Mesa (two close to your neck of the woods). This would include everything from egos/clearos to DNA devices and mechs with RDA's.

Just follow the storage protocols (batteries in a case in carry-on, all liquids in the carry-on baggie or checked) and you're set.

I fly a lot and I have never had a problem. Multiple batteries and mods in purse and carry on. Liquid in a zippered leather case. They never look.

I figured as much. They're pretty clear on the TSA website that they're extremely tolerant of e-cigs. Its the airlines that spook ya with the big green notice just before you print your boarding pass.. "Lithium Batteries are not permitted in carry on or checked luggage for your flight".

My last flight they were too concerned about my belt instead of the gear in my bag. Standard belt too.
