Am I missing something here?

I've bought the Cigarette Electronique pack. Comes with the cigarette, 10 cartridges and a usb with a charger at the end of it. Problem is, either my charger isn't working or I'm too stupid to notice I'm missing something else. I imagine I'm missing a power pack of some sort but I don't think this comes with the set, so I'm just wondering if this should actually be working, as I'm just plugging the usb into the pc and getting nothing except a flashing red light for when I unplug it. Left it in there all night, nothing happened. Missing a power pack or what?

Sorry for my total stupidity, i'm too impatient to read something before I impulse buy.

Did you unscrew everything off the battery before you put it in the charger?You have carts and an atty on there right?

All I've unscrewed is the top. What I think is the atty connected to the cartridge, so it's essentially the unit with a piece at the end that connects to the charger. Nothing's happening.

Are you sure that it doesnt still have a small metal atomizer still connected to the batt?

You have a cartridge with eliquid in it,an attomizer and a battery.screw just the battery into the charger.it should flash and then start to charge.If not,take it back,might have a bad battery.

Try a different usb port.

i had that happen to me once, plugged it in a different port and it did work

I was going to try and help but looked at the site and didn't realize it is in french... ha. I see a 4088 number... never knew that existed. it appears to be a pen style 4081 or something...not sure. But it does appear to be a 2 piece model...

Edit: I take that back, they have different models, so depends on which he ordered.... I thought Cigarette Electronique was the model... that likely means e-cig in french... ha ha.

Which model did you order? The v8? i can't read french - but I can look at pictures...

I am not being a jerk here...I have seen where others had this prob I am gonna say... did you screw the battery into the charger? Not just stick it in there? I am a dumb newbie too...just honestly offering the only tip I have in my limited vaping database....lol

Yeah, it's screwed in to the charger, which is connected to one of the front ports of my usb's.

Doesn't sound like you're missing anything. Try plugging the usb into a different port first, then screw in the battery. The tip should flash several times then the light on the charger should turn red while charging, green when fully charged. If it doesn't, and you've tried all the usb ports you've got, something is broken. Either the battery, the charger, or, god forbid, your usb ports.

Nope. Tried everything. It only flashes red when I unplug it.

Front usb ports often aren 't quite the same as back ones because of the long bus used to get to the motherboard. Try one in the back if possible. Use a USB 2 port if possible. Good luck!

I'll leave it on overnight in the back, if that doesn't work, I dunno what to do. Hopefully the guy off amazon responds.

this is going to sound funny, but do you have a newer cell phone that has a USB wall charger?
If so, try plugging the e-cig connector into the head piece of the wall unit, then screw the battery in....

Or go to radio shack and get a wall adapter
