gotcha - some laptop usb ports are just for data, not necessarily power, depending on the laptop - but if wall wart is having same effect, likely that is not your issue... on a positive note, most vape shops sell those ego chargers for under $5... if you do end up having to replace that battery, may want to check out something that will take direct usb charging (like spinner II) if you are going to stick with that style of battery/ device

Thank you so much!
I was so scared that I'd already broken it before I even got to use it. >_<
If nothing happens after I let this charge overnight, I'll pick up a new charger.
If *that* doesn't work, I'll get a new battery.
Thank you so, so much for all of your help, I'm sorry to be a bother! ._.

Erm
The tank is a 'Mini Protank 3' from KangerTech
And the liquid is actually nic free (it's from aer, Peach ejuice).

lol - mini protank 3 is a decent little tank, but have heard they can be prone to some leaking issues - just something to be aware of (and don't leave it somewhere overly warm - heat will cause expansion in tank/ juice, juice will go through coil and seek nearest outlet... like the airflow holes...)

likely a 1.5 ohm coil, I think

Dumb question. When you purchased the battery, did you get each item separately - battery, charger, tank - or did you get everything in a blister pack or box, all packaged together, like it came from the manufacturer?

If you got everything separately, I wonder if you got something that they were using for a "tester", or that someone else had returned. You might want to try prying up the center pin - the little round thingie in the center of the battery. You just need to bring it up a smidge. You can use a toothpick, paper clip, etc. Something on the thin side. I use a yarn/tapestry needle when I need to do this. Do not fire the battery when you are trying this.

Sometimes the center pin will get depressed when the tank is screwed on too tight. Finger tight is good. You want the tank well seated on the battery so that the coil makes contact with the battery, but not so tight that it takes an effort to get the tank and battery detached from each other.

We have not encountered the blinking on our Evods, but we have had the depressed center pin issue a couple of times, and we are still using the batteries. When we had issues, the light on the charger was green, like the battery was fully charged, but got very little to no vapor when it was attached to the tank.
