I am going from a stock 901 starter kit to a 3.7 mod (Saber Touch). My plan is to use 808 carto's for longer vaping between setups. I currently am using a 901 lr atty. Will switching to carto's make me sad? or will the more powerful mod make up for the Lr difference??
If it balances out, won't it be a wash? I've been curious about this, but people talk about getting HV mods with higher resistance attys... Here's the question I have...

If your higher resistance atty produces the same voltage drop as your low resistance atty with your old bat, aren't you getting the same thing, but with the mental accomplishment of using "HV?"

If we know the voltage coming in, and the resistance of the two attys, we *should* be able to tell if the difference is mental or real.

Here's a more interesting question: is the voltage producing the vapor, or is it the current? I would assume that much like a heating element, the thing that really matters is what your current is...

This means that what really matters is this equation: I=E/R <- if this balances out for both, it's a wash.

I guess what I am saying in response to your question is if we can get the resistances of both, we would know for sure.

I would be very happy with a wash. Thats what I'm hoping for, a all day wash.

The difference in my 901 reg vs lr is absolutely not in my mind. Its a night and day difference. Very clear.

That's what I'm saying... If we knew the resistance of both, we could know for sure what to expect. I would expect that you will be happy with the cartos with your mod for a lateral change.

Yeah, I don't understand that either.
Why get an HV atomizer to tone down your HV experience?

The LR atomizers, yeah, of course those make sense.
But the HV ones, why?

I think the answer is the HVs are harder to blow out at high voltage.
But if that is the answer, why use high voltage at all?

There has to be something I'm missing in this equation.
