Is it the nautilus or the Nautilus MINI? The original Nautilus were known to have some issues with the BDC (Bottom Dual Coil) heads. Most couldn't vape above 9.5 watts or so before they got a burnt taste and had to replace the heads very quickly.

The new Nautilus MINI's on the other hand have the new BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) heads (which fit the original Nautilus too). IMO... They are amazing, Flavor and vapor is incredible and can handle up to about 20 watts, and have lasted weeks before having to replace them.

I got a fake Nautilus, which actually works fine, and I don't really mind it at all. Then I got a real one, and some BVC's, and I'm not sure I really like it. It's SUPER airy....not sure how to describe it. Even with the airflow dialed down, the flavor seems so weak, like there's tons of air mixed in with it and just harder to draw.

I love all my bvc aspire nautilus tanks I have the mini and the big one I threw my kangers out the window lol
I did just the opposite. I bought air flow bases and pulled my Kangers back out and put 3 Nautilus tanks in the drawer. Not impressed at all with the Aspire line. I switch between Ibtanked carto tanks and Protanks and I'm happy. One day you'll find what's right for you and you'll be happy.

Try firing a new bvc coil in it, I was so fed up with my old nautilus but came bak in rotation with the new coil. Love the mini too.

Hey Allan...I'm an Allan, too...same spelling. For all of you unfamiliar...this spelling is rare (except Edgar Allan Poe).

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

+1 on the Kanger airflow valves, and they also keep that annoying spot of ejuice off the battery connector post.

I bought a genuine Nautilus a few months ago, and absolutely hated it. I sold it within 2 wks of getting it, nevermind that I didn't get anything close to what I paid for it. I thought it just sucked; it changed the flavor of my regular ejuice to something I couldn't even stand, and the way it vaped was just horrible; at first, it would seem you aren't getting anything, then all of a sudden, wham! scorched lips and lungs. Just a horrible piece of hardware IMHO.

I hate ALL! dual-coil ANYTHING, they're just too hot, and ruin the flavor of my favorite ejuice. Once I got a kayfun clone, I had found my own personal vaping nirvana.

I have been using Kanger EVODs and Kanger T3s's with various eGO c-twist batteries. I've had a lot of success, but I just bought the MVP 2 and an Aspire Nautilus tank as I was looking for a little more battery life. However, I'm intrigued with the idea of an air flow base - I've never heard of these. Where did you get yours and what benefits does it have?
