Am I working this Itaste VTR right??

I've had my Itaste vtr for almost a month now using the IMR 18650 battery and the supplied clearomizer at 2.5 ohms. The longer I vape at 8 watts, the ohms increase. From 2.9 to start to almost 7.9 ohms after about a week of daily all day vaping. Is this normal? I've never had a unit before this one that registers the ohm amount, so I'm not sure. Or am I just doing something wrong? I assumed the vtr would adjust the proper power on the watts setting. So? What's the deal? If you know, please advise. Thanks!

do you have the vtr which has the rotating 510 connection? the inconsistent ohm readings is a known issue. keep an eye on it to see if it continues to happen (mine does it too). my local B&M is trying to see if innokin will give me a replacement unit.

I did not think about that.. Good advice.

Its good practice to keep all of your connections/threads cleaned whenever filling up. About once a week, I take apart my Davide tank and clean it inside and out and it ends up paying off. Also, everytime I fill up, I clean the center pin of the VTR and make sure its dry of juices. I ALWAYS have Q-Tips in my portable case, and IMO, has extended the life of all of my vaping stuff!

I also use 2.5ohm attys! But I have my power/wattage down low compared to most people. On my VTR, with a 2.5ohm atty, I have it set to 4.2v/5watts. My SVD has different juice, but its set on 3.7v/5watts, with a 2.5ohm atty as well! I get consistent hits and flavor and never any burning taste, except when my atty is going bad :)
