just bought e-cigarettes from a seller through ebay, its not a major brand like ruyan or njoy, but its called Health E-cigarettes..
i have concerns regarding the safety of it, or does it matter at all what brand you buy?

In my opinion, it doesn't matter which brand you buy - as long as you like it.

There are a lot of cheaper versions of the e-cigarette and many do not last long. That being said you can also get a Ruyan or NJOY that breaks; however, customer service is great and is always willing to fix the problem.

I began my e-cigarette with e-cig.com, then bought off of e-bay a mini-cig - then eventually bought an NJOY and a Janty. After trying different ones, I found I like the quality of the NJOY and Janty better than the others I have tried.

I would suggest that you buy what you want and if you can afford it, try different ones.

The health brand minicig has kinda bad reputation for quality as far as producing vapor and battery life. If you purchased it from a seller that goes by ecigsales.com you should be in good shape. The seller pretests the health brand e-cigs and i actually used one and it seemed pretty good. I have a health brand e-cigar, but i'm enjoying my njoy allot more now. You'll probably want to upgrade to a better model e-cig when you decide if you like e-smoking or not. The health brand e-cig is basically a starter cig to let you test out e-smoking. It's not really one of the cigs that you'll be able to use for months and months. But, i'm sure you'll get plenty of use from it so you can decide if you want to continue e-smoking and if you actually like it.

I have a Health brand mini cig and cigar. The cigar has been in full daily use for three months, and I really like it. Lots of vapor and it's predictable. The cig is less predictable. What I've finally discovered is that it only works well with a full cartridge. And it won't work at all if you drip/drop fluid onto its atomizer. It just dies.

My Health mini cigs from DealExtreme were two for $36, with 10 cartridges, two atomizers and two batteries. One battery died quickly -- and DealExtreme promptly placed half my payment, $18, in my PayPal account. They have been excellent with every purchase I've made. So I ended up with a cig, charger, 10 full cartridges and two atomizers for $18. Not bad at all. That was about two months ago.

I'm puffing on the Health cig now as I write (I'm down to the "low" nicotine cartridges, but I don't seem to feel nicotine from these at ANY level, no matter the device).

It is cheaply made. No denying that. But in my opinion the prices of most e-cigs today are insane. They are grossly overpriced. These are not some super-sophisticated piece of electronics. Look at them! I bet they cost $5 or less each to mass manufacture. Then they sell for $100 or more. Ridiculous profits here. You're wise to start "cheap."

So you've got yourself a starter cig. Enjoy it. Use it six months while improved models emerge and a price war ensues. Then replace it.
