Yesterday I purchased a Taifun GT clone from Vapermods on Ebay. I've so far only been using my genuine kayfun Lite which I am happy with but which took a lot of trial and error to get it right but now vapes well. The Taifun was super easy to build and immediately gave MASSIVE plumes of vape and the most incredible intense flavour I have ever experienced. The quality is top notch. Also with the Taifun you can change the coil or rewick without loosing any juice. All in all it beats the kayfun by a country mile. I'm in vape heaven. Just thought I would share this experience.:)

I have been thinking about getting a Hcigar taifun clone and then was thinking about getting a kayfun lite(Clone if need be, as the origianl is hard to get) but I have heard the taifunGT can have leaking issues over the kayfun..Do you have any leaking issues? I just made my first coil on my kanger protank 2 and it works..YAY!! so I think if I can make a coil for that then one of these I wouldn't have a issue with, okay took me 1 hour to build that small coil but it works. Would the taifun gt or the kayfun lite look better on a provari?

No leaking on Taifun... not unless "user error"...

Sometimes the internet is just wrong...

I only had one leak on mine, and it was a flood of biblical proportions. I'd forgotten to raise the atomizer wall far enough.... easily done.

With the correct width of cotton/silica it actually can't leak.... (unless you are an idiot, like I was.....) :)

I have both. The Taifun sits exactly flush with the provari and is very sharp with a beauty ring. The kayfun is 1mm smaller. Noticeable but not unattractive.

Hi. My first build on the GT was magical as already described. I used it for about a week or so and then re coiled and re wicked. I had leakage issues. I think the key is to ensure the right width of wick is used. Im using cotton wool.It needs to be just thick enough to fill the little holes when you screw the inner cap over the coil compartment. Also the cotton wool should not be too compressed but fairly light and fluffy. Its vaping extremely well again now with no issues. I still prefer it to the kayfun lite, but I think I had beginners luck on the first build.

I had floods the first build when the chamber sleeve twisted on re-assembly.
Had pre-flood gurgling on another three occasions ( I know, slow learner and all that ) after I washed/dry burned.
These things like 6mm in the sleeve channels, I had 4x1mm coil wicks with 2mm ekowool snippets
in the channels and although I don't overtighten when assembling, got flooding with 2mm replacement
snippets. Now have to use 3mm ekowool snippets after cleaning/dry burning, can't re-use the 2mm bits.
Now have 5 and three-quarter Taifun GT's and they work just fine (well, five of them do).
@djs, The Moors is still my favourite liquid !

I love my GT. It's definitely less cranky thank my Kayfun. It vapes like a train and puts out some serious vapor. I wrapped a 26G .9 ohm macro coil on it and it's fabulous. The first time I had a royal mess of a leak. My gates weren't raised enough and my cotton wick didn't extend far enough out of the grooves. If you just make sure the gates are up and your wick extends out a few millimeters from the grooves on the sides then you're fine, great wicking, and no leaks. I'd take this over my Kayfun anyday.

Hope I have beginners luck, I have one coming in the mail. My friend has one and I love the flavor this thing produces. I also have a kayfun 3.1 and I think this one beats it.

My Taifun is definitely better than my Kafuns. I've just moved up to 3mm coils rather than 2mm coils. It allows more wick, which helps with the right thickness through those juice holes. 100% perfect at the moment. :)
