Sorry I know this is off topic but, if provaris are the class of the field why does one person need six? Not trying to call you out but i'm looking to upgrade from an ego twist and trying to understand the provape price tag.

-- The quote was "have had six". Some of us buy/sell/trade PVs in the classifieds here and other forums often or buy/sell/trade with other vapers we know. Also, there are three distinct versions of the provari and then also some color options and extension caps for different batteries. If I was really in to provaris, I might want one of each in my collection. And, if supervape is anything like me, one PV isn't enough. On any given day, I usually use five or six different PVs... some might just be for a drag or two or maybe an hour or two, and others might be with me for the majority of the day, but I use a bunch of different PVs every day.

I’ve only been vaping for a short time and already have 2 Provari. I also have the 2 Ego twist’s 1000 that I started with. The Provari build quality is so much better than the twist, when you hold it you just know. I don’t have to worry about breaking it when I drop it. You put your battery in and when it dies you just replace unlike the Ego non replaceable battery. It also has short circuit protection built in, so if you ever have a problem with a cartomizer or atomizer and juice getting inside you don’t have to worry about it going into meltdown mode. The VV has the led that you can see, and you don’t have to squint and hold it just so to see it like the Ego. It also has ohm check and battery check. Don’t get me wrong I like the Ego as a starter VV but the Provari is worth the price. As for having had 6 it’s like Pringles once you pop you can’t stop.

Why does anyone have more than one vaping device?

Everyone needs a backup device, and some people like a backup for their backup. Some people become collectors of different mod brands. And some people just collect Provari's.

If you ask that question in relation to why would you need more than one Provari if it is the "class of the field", I can only answer, "because they can." I can only afford one Provari, but if I could afford more, I would not hesitate. It has become my primary vaping device, and fortunately I already have other mods that can serve as its backup devices.

To understand the Provari price tag, the best that I can explain it is you must have one to begin to understand. And nearly any Provari owner will tell you exactly the same thing. Holding it in your hands and studying it you will instantly recognize that this is a different device.

Design. Engineering. Build quality. Manufacturing materials and fine details. Knowing that what you set, you'll get, every time. An "intelligent" microprocessor that not only gives information about battery life and precise resistance readings of the attached atty under load. It automatically keeps you out of harms way by telling you if your dialed in vaping request is dangerous to you, the atty, or the Provari itself. Proven customer service. Confidence if anything ever goes wrong, Provape will do you good.

How much more do you need to know? As one of the more popular and respected reviewers, Pbusardo said in his review of the Provari 2 on YouTube, "I have one, I have held one, and I have vaped one. And now, I get it."

Provari owners may come across as fanboys, but when people who have never owned one start preaching that the Provari is over rated and over priced, some of us feel the need to try to explain why we feel it is such a stand out device.

The Provari is not for everyone. But for someone who is looking for a variable voltage mod that has the build quality, durability, intelligence and safety features all included in one device, and the customer service and reputation that Provape has, it is the better choice and worth the price.

Be sure to check these out. You can get one made exactly how you want it. He uses a good regulator in the VV ones and he's even done some with a Kick built in. Once you decide what you want you have to order and wait. The wait can be agonizing but it's worth it in the end. Also the pics are awesome but don't do them justice, in hand they are unbelievable.

Im gonna put out another shout out for Vapormoons, Saber Touch, its a workhorse that is rugged, made in the USA. Its also extremely well finished and machined. Its not a Precise which is a work of art as well, but its going to keep going and going. With a 5 year warranty and unlimited ways to customize it the price is modest. THey have all sorts of choices, Vari-volt, 3.7/6volts, 5 volt Kicked or not and a mini. Check them out, you might like what you see, they are all mechanical, so you wont get a screen read out on the Vari-Volt, but with less electronics you have less to go wrong.

I love mine, even if its just a 3.7/6 volt. It hits great.
