So I couldn't make it to my usual shop. It's an hour away and I had to be at work. So I try a local pawn shop that mixes their own e juice. I picked up a 10ml bottle ( which was only 7ml) of banana flavor. I love bananas so I thought this will be good. Well it tastes okay for a bit then around the third tank through my Atlantis all I taste is nasty burnt ammonia flavor. As PBusardo would say monkey ...... The coil is fine I just added some of my other juice sadly the last of it, and it tastes like it should. What would make this juice taste like that. It's a 50/50 blend at 11mg nic.

Maybe you could try buying some stuff online from places that have a good rep here, and always keep a good back-up. Buying out of some place that isn't even a vape shop is not a great idea. Would you buy asthma inhalers from a backstreet chop-shop garage? Would you buy your cardiac medication from a pig farm?

If you're going to inhale stuff then it should at least be made by someone who has some sort of investment in their reputation and enough turnover to source reasonable materials and do the required testing. If you can't afford real e-liquid then don't buy from some kind of dollar a bottle merchant, it's safer to make it yourself. Get Glycerine USP and Propylene Glycol USP (PG) from a pharmacy, 60mg strength nic base online from a reputable vendor, and very simple flavours like menthol and peppermint locally or online. You can get really good flavours from some of the places recommended in the DIY e-liquid forum/s here.

You can make refills cheaper than the cheapest pawn shop or pig farm if that's what you need, and at least you'll know what went into it, and it won't have been made from the world's cheapest ingredients, mixed in a pawned sink or a pig slop bucket.
