so I'm new to the vaping world and I got my kanger subox mini in the mail yesterday and everything worked perfectly up until tonight when I started getting a burnt taste. I was using the .5 occ and for some reason I can not get the burnt taste to go away. I switched to the rba and the taste went away but came back very quickly so I cranked my wattage down to 18 with the same problem, and I went even lower when I switched to the 1.5 still with the same burnt taste. I soaked all my stuff and everything. I used a 50/50 blend as well as an 80/20 vg/pg blend at the beginning, both tasting great but now both taste burnt. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, help!!!!

yeah burnt is forever.
I had a problem with those coils, in that they would not wick fast enough. So bring the chain copper I am, got a little scorched. Take a primer puff after every hit or 2 to keep the wick moist, this could be the issue.
and too high power will also tend to cause scorching, so I'll second the question of where did you have it set?

Also if using the rebuildable section make sure that the cotton isn't extremely tight inside the coil, if it is then there's a high chance it's going to pinch it off and juice won't be able to flow as freely as it needs to for consecutive puffs. Good rule of thumb that I go by is have it just tight enough that its not wiggling around in there but not so tight that it's difficult to pull back and forth.

Welcome to the vaping world
